RNC prematurely declares Mike Pence debate winner two hours before start time

The Republican National Committee (RNC) appeared to accidentally declare on its website Tuesday night that Mike Pence was the winner of the vice presidential debate, nearly two hours before it was slated to start.

“Americans from all across the country tuned in to watch the one and only Vice Presidential debate. During the debate we helped fact check and monitor the conversation in real time @GOP. The consensus was clear after the dust settled, Mike Pence was the clear winner of the debate,” said the blog post on gop.com, the party’s website.

The post, which went viral nearly two hours before the debate was scheduled to begin at 9 p.m., said that Pence’s top moments were on the “economy” and “highlighting Hillary’s scandals.”

I agree Pence did a great job.......

I was very impressed with his skill but more so.........

With his experience and personal qualities.....

A man one can point out top your kids and role model ..........


And now has earned himself as the leader of the conservative wing of the GOP......

And a solid contender to run for the nomination in 2020..........

AS several observers said last night........

The real loser last night was Ted Cruz.........

I actually felt the debate was mostly a draw. I thought each man presented their case very well. It's different with a VP debate, because the debaters have different interests and intents. Kaine was obviously playing attack dog and Pence was obviously playing the thoughtful trustworthy type. Each man played a different role to complement their Presidential partners.

If I HAD to declare a winner, I'd probably say Pence won by the slimmest of margins (and I believe early polls are saying something similar) but I felt the debate was mostly a draw, with each man playing their role fairly well and making great points for their side and against the other.

I doubt if they even knew......

Or would argue it never happened that way without even knowing or checking if true

And even if they knew would find some way to either change the subject or continue to deny.......

And there is the old stand by...........personal attacks oat the messenger.......

Have I cover them all?

And if referring to the job Pence did..........Well done.........He did a great job defending the indefensible and did it well and with dignity

I don't think that there can be any question there. But the votes went to the frivolous one.
