No, they weren't. They literally had no civil rights. They were out and out persecuted in the southern United States. The argument that they were somehow better off is laughable.

The civil rights laws weren't "racist"--- they were granting citizens of the US their constitutional rights.

so 50 murders a weekend in the liberal Chicago culture is better off??? Living in a liberal ghetto plantation more dangerous than Iraq is better off??? More young blacks men in liberal prisons than in college is better off? 40% unemployment amoung young black men is better off when it was 5% in the 1950's is better off.

He too is a **** you to establishment politics, and unlike Trump, he really isn't "establishment." Trump spent so much time bragging about how he uses his money to get political favors and the like - that's the essence of the problem with "establishment" anything. I don't see how being on the opposite side of the politician-turned-crony-capitalist is any better or different. He was an equal participant in the same *****y game.

I don't think he's fit to be President, but he's a hell of a lot fitter than Trump. And, I think if you keep reconsidering, you may come to see that he's the more desirable candidate even if your only criterion is establishment status.

Finally, a vote for Johnson is a vote against the real establishment candidates: Clinton and Trump.

What you've been saying is pure partisan hackery. Civil rights legislation is not "genocide". By your own definition we shouldn't have fought the revolution against England because what good are civil rights when your family is dead or in jail?

Fighting the Revolution, by its definition, turned the country into a war zone.

dear, blacks today are 14% of the populations and 60% of the prison populations and we have 10 times more in prison than all other nations.
this was not so in the 1950's before the deadly liberal programs. Now do you understand?

Obvious untrue facts are untrue. There's no way in hell there are more African Americans in prison today than prisoners in actual African countries.

In the 1950s racism, discrimination and extrajudicial killings were rampant.
