Black Lives Matter If....

Your argument boils down to no cause of death should be addressed (singled out?) if it is not among the top causes of death. Are you just as adamant about dismissing groups (campaigns?) that focus on "fighting" breast cancer or DUI? BLM has some valid points about police use of deadly force but also many invalid points about reparations and removing LEOs from schools.
To answer your question simply, yes, I am pretty admamant about wasting media exposure and precious resources on the frivolous.

At the same time, that was not a very well assessed boiling down of argument. Lets look at what I said compared to what you say I said. 1. Where did I say anything approaching, "no cause of death should be addressed (singled out?) if it is not among the top causes of death."?

Then lets look at the two you emphasized.

2. Breast Cancer campaign... over 40,000 American women were expected to die in 2015 of Breast Cancer. Is there any comparsion of problem whatsoever with unjustified killing of Black people by law enforcement? No. https://www.google.com/webhp?source...pv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=breast cancer deaths per year

3. DUI ... 10,000 Americans died in alcohol related crashes in 2014 Impaired Driving: Get the Facts | Motor Vehicle Safety | CDC Injury Center

4. Death at the hands of law enforcement, justified or not, in 2015 was calculated at about 1140. That includes all races. That comes in at about a 11% of the DUI rate and about .285% of the rate of BC deaths.

By the way, I think you probably could have found more illustrative examples.

The amount of attention this statistically insignificant number of killings, mainly justified so of even lesser import, by the Black Community is ridiculous, crying wolf. Far more important concerns of our citizens need be addressed, especially in the Black Community. The real and large problems remain largely ignored.

Nobody is condoning unjustified killings of anyone.

In the vast scheme of things this problem is simply not one of more than passing concern, not symptomatic of anything much. Humans being imperfect means mistakes will inevitably happen. Each case should be thoroughly investigated. Where injustices committed, the law should prevail and criminals go to jail.

BLM, our president and many black leaders have gone too quickly out on a limb supporting far too many individuals who lost their lives. But most case were proven justified. Now those crying wolf have squandered much of an appeal, had it been valid, to us normal law abiding folk.

I would add that if it were not raced based, if it were about not just one race, Black Lives, but one where there being some semblance of us all being in this together, that would be a pragmatic we could all attach to. But many factors, including the fact that twice as many whites are killed by cops, that Black and Hispanic police officers are more likely to fire a gun at blacks than white officers, or Blacks are more likely to kill cops than be killed by cops... all makes this more nuanced than BLM.

Then of course you could add "2009 statistics from the Bureau of Justice Statistics reveal that blacks were charged with 62 percent of robberies, 57 percent of murders and 45 percent of assaults in the 75 biggest counties in the country, despite only comprising roughly 15 percent of the population in these counties.

Add that LE officers, especially white ones, now feel they have a target on their backs.

Comes down to this being a rather highly charged but rather superfluous issue compared to that which should be getting our attention.

Remember the topic and the entire post:

“Black Lives Matter, If Killed by Whites”

“Obama wishes to make this statement to the roughly 5,000 black Americans who will be murdered this year by people who aren't white police officers....”

“Too bad, so sad.”

If you’ve been reading articles regarding BLM complaints about police violence against black Americans, that’s just what it is. Blue on black violence. Not white on black violence. There is an extremely low incidence of white on black violence. But blue on black violence is much higher than blue on white. It's roughly 50/50 white/blue and black/blue on black violence. But that's not the point. Blue on black is the point.
