GOP Close To Dumping Trump As Coup Plotters Near Votes Needed To Cause Nomination Cha

Re: GOP Close To Dumping Trump As Coup Plotters Near Votes Needed To Cause Nomination

Lame reply and out of context as well.

Smart Republicans know Trump is not one of them. Dumb ones not so much.

Re: GOP Close To Dumping Trump As Coup Plotters Near Votes Needed To Cause Nomination

Let me guess....they'll try to replace Trump with Jeb Bush? Because he represents big oil companies that are scared witless about Trump not being a member of their team.

The hack job GOP candidates lost fair and square, now they want to cheat to try to salvage the election, but the people have spoken: Dump Trump and conservative voters will dump the GOP.
Why, because Trump is a "Conservative" :lamo

Are you aware that Ronald Reagan was liberal at one point in his life before becoming conservative?

Would you rather have Jeb Bush as the nominee?

Kasich or Christie would maybe have a shot at beating Hillary. Rubio had a fighter's chance until Trump tagged him and Little Marco failed to show an effective counter punch. Paul...but, he was toast pretty early on. Still any one of those four would be doing better today than the buffoon currently is against the felon.

Yes I am aware of that fact. Are you aware that he became a Conservative long before running for President of the United States of America, Trump was a Liberal Dem the day before he announce his bid for the nomination, and he still is one, so not the same. By the way I was no big fan of Ronnie, so I think you may have me confused with someone else.

Re: GOP Close To Dumping Trump As Coup Plotters Near Votes Needed To Cause Nomination

A guy that was born rich and has been a TV star can't become a viable candidate? Your Prime Minister was born rich and is a former TV star.

And he was running a somewhat against Trump Lite, and kicked ass.

That's your opinion, not fact. The GOP tried on 08 & 12 to run stale, bland candidates against Obama, and it went nowhere.

Christie isn't a bad choice imo, but mainstream America doesn't run according to my opinion.

Re: GOP Close To Dumping Trump As Coup Plotters Near Votes Needed To Cause Nomination

Wonder who they plan to replace him with? :2wave:

<Republicans are coming close to the number of votes that they need to dump Donald Trump at their convention in Cleveland. >

<Reid Epstein of The Wall Street Journal reported:>

<The anti-Trump camp needs the backing of 28, or one-quarter, of the 112 Convention Rules Committee members, in order to place the issue before the full convention. A Wall Street Journal survey suggests it could be close. >

,Though a majority of the convention delegates are bound to support Mr. Trump, Mr. Evans’s count shows just about 890 delegates are personally loyal to the New Yorker. Another 680 oppose Mr. Trump. That leaves 900 delegates who are presumed to be “in play,” he said. The stop-Trump forces would have to take nearly two-thirds of them to block his nomination>

If this happened, the heads of Reps and Dems should explode. That move would be disenfranchising the voters of the USA.

Canada is still 50 years away from being anywhere near as bad off as the US is right now. Which is why you can vote a literature major, trust fund baby with no accomplishments into office and not come out too bad.

Oh really?

Trump funded the birther movement back in 2008 to try to get Obama's birth records released. Was he a liberal back when he was doing that?

Right, he found his Republican roots right around the time he was asking for Obama's birth certificate.

So they're still going around trying to CHEAT, huh? **** the will of the voters, right? Sure...that won't cause voter anger

If these asshats somehow someway do succeed in stopping Trump's nomination, the GOP really will collapse. Voters will get royally pissed off and stay home on election day, guaranteeing a Hillary win.

It’s kinda a damned if you do, dammed if you don't situation. One could make a case that if trump gets elected the gop will cease to exist the day of trumps swearing in.

Wrong, the point is - I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and crap out a smarter comeback than what you just said.

Donald Trump changed political parties at least five times: report - Washington Times

Mr. Trump, who after years of teasing the idea announced on Tuesday his GOP bid for the White House, may soon have to answer for why he left the party as recently as 2011.

Mr. Trump registered for the first time in New York as a Republican in July 1987, only to dump the GOP more than a decade later for the Independence Party in October 1999, according to the New York City Board of Elections.

In August 2001, the billionaire enrolled as a Democrat. Eight years later, he returned to the Republican Party, The Smoking Gun reported.
