When corporations steal people's money, when oil companies poison the air, when shoddy electronics get people killed in cars, the Republicans say "we need less regulation".

When abortion clinics are doing their job by helping to prevent unwanted pregnancies, thereby saving money public assistance money, Republicans say "we need more regulation".

When the US government intentionally topples the leadership of foreign countries, Republicans say "we need more war".

What's you're point?

But most liberals have been in love with the perceived "progress" that Europe has made over the past 50 years. They are always looking to force what works in Europe on us. I've been following the news since I was 14, I've seen this play out in many areas Gov.

Guns have been all but banned in the U.K. for many years. Heck, even many police officers in the U.K. aren't allowed to carry guns. They look like mall cops here in the states, with a radio and a whistle at the ready in case Isis is allergic to whistles, but no gun.

We aren't the U.K. What works for them is really super duper, but America is a whole different ball game.

Always fails when people attempt this sort of nonsense. I could do the same with Conservatives but that would be becoming part of the problem, so I will pass.
