Speculate all what could go wrong or right in a trump presidency. Ideally I would like Trump supporters to chime in on what Trump could possibly do to piss you off. Would it bother you if he doesn't build the wall? Would it bother you if he let in Illegals? Would it bother you if he raised taxes or implemented a single payer health care system? Or added twice as much debt as Obama did?

All I hear about Trump is the same thing I heard Obama was going to do. He is going to change the system. He is going to take out all DC. He is going to help us! As we now know, Obama's promises have come up empty handed, so what would make you happy about a Trump presidency? What would he do better and differently than any other President? Explain, don't hyperventilate :)

Anyone who was paying attention knew that Obama was a business usual type of candidate based on where his SUPER PAC money was coming from and his legislative record in Congress.

Anyway

If Trump continues to turn a blind eye to illegal immigration that would really piss me off. Yes, Obama has deported more illegal immigrants than ever before however between sanctuary cities and actual University support groups, more can easily be done. I would also be really pissed if he continues Obama's policy of not adequately screening immigrants from the M.E. and he doesn't crack down on H-1B visa abuse.

Would it bother you if he doesn't build the wall? Would it bother you if he let in Illegals?
If he doesn't wind up building the wall, it wouldn't bother me that much although I do think it's a good idea. I don't know how much I'd trust a government entity with ANY construction projects, even with Trump's experience on the matter. As for illegal immigrants, they sneak into this country.

Would it bother you if he raised taxes or implemented a single payer health care system?
I thought Trump talking about raising taxes on rich people was a refreshing breath of fresh air and was disappointed when he changed his stance on it. I'm indifferent to Single payer since what matters on that front is the payment mechanism.

Or added twice as much debt as Obama did?
I've never held Obama responsible for adding to the debt considering the Iraq war was paid for using a credit card. What would severely anger me is if he backtracks on not arming the "moderate rebels". I don't think he will but that could be the breaking point for me. We know for a fact that those people are not our friends.

He claims he is the best to lead, organize, build, and unite!

Unfortunately, if you can't lead, organize, or unite a small rally in Chicago, it's not looking too good to successfully apply those same skill-sets to successfully lead, organize, and unite 330M!

I would expect four years of no Trump led legislation, along with a flurry of Executive Orders like never seen before, only to see many rescinded by the Court or succeeding President.

If Trump unites anyone, it will likely be Congress - against him!

But I seriously believe the most successful thing a Trump Presidential candidate will do, is get a Democrat (even a poor one) elected!

I think this is an unfair criticism. That's like blaming someone for getting flashmobbed. Trump has organized many other successful rally's.

I think Trump is the hardest candidate to predict. I would imagine that most of the big decisions would basically just be told to him by his advisers. I very much doubt he would successfully bring jobs back to America or even generate new middle class jobs. He may successfully get the border wall started although we will definitely pay for it. If he is able to elect supreme court justices we could see a rolling back of gay marriage and the ACA. I think my big fear would be a quick trigger finger when it comes to military action. Particularly if someone insults his hand size.

Would it bother you if he doesn't build the wall?
Nope.
Would it bother you if he let in Illegals?
Yes. Legally?..no.
Would it bother you if he raised taxes
Yes. If he says he wants to eliminate government bloat, then lower taxes should be the result.
implemented a single payer health care system?
Yes.
Or added twice as much debt as Obama did?
Is it even possible to match what Obama has done?
What would he do better and differently than any other President? Explain, don't hyperventilate :)
Trump's allure is that he's not a politician. Many citizens are sick of politicians. Sick of their empty promises. Sick of their rhetoric. Sick of their fake attitude towards the masses. Perhaps we NEED someone who's not a politician. Someone to tell the oligarchs that they're not safe in their ivory tower. Someone to tell them that we refuse to be spoon-fed their B.S. Personally, I don't care if Trump fails to change the world, like he says. I think a business mind would be a good thing to try, even if for one term. It can't be any worse that the king-wannabe we have now. Can't be any worse than the economy destroying socialist. Can't be any worse than the world's most crooked politician. Can't be worse than the two GOP puppets they've propped up right now.

You know I keep hearing that Trump will tell it like it is and that he is not an oligrach, but he is! He also has his own ivory tower. So is Trump really the right person deserving of this type of description? In that same line of thinking, I keep hearing that putting Trump in for at least one term cannot be any worse than we have it already. Well, that's silly. OF course it can!!!! Empty rhetoric aside, I thank you for answering the questions, but it was lacking in details and then you went right on with Trump supporter talking points.

The greatest danger of a Trump presidency would be his complete unpredictability should the nation face some international crisis and the chances he would over react making things far worse.

I think a Trump presidency would lead to another war, very nearly a global one, also the appointment of two or even three very conservative Supreme Court justices, and witch hunts for any who dissent. I'm thinking fascist oligarchy which, while not much of a stretch from where we are now, is the final nail in the democracy experiment.
Unfortunately I am almost convinced that a Trump defeat will also trigger a civil war, so take your pick.

:vomit:

I honestly don't know. Part of me thinks he would be the worst president we have ever had. But he could also turn out to be one the best. Nobody knows who he is going to be if he reports for duty in the Oval Office. I don't think he believes much of the crap he spouts. He is playing a part, just like he did on his reality shows. When I go back and watch old videos of interviews with him he comes across as a calm, intelligent, rational person. Is that the real Trump? Whichever persona he settles on, I doubt it would be consistent through an entire term.

Not a Trump supporter (GO KASICH OR RUBIO) but I'd like a stab at this.

No, he won't build a wall. Yes, he will let in illegals. Yes, he will raise taxes. No, he won't implement single payer because the GOP lead House will never allows that. Yes, he'll add debt, but not as much as Obama did because he wont' do anything noteworthy, like that useless stimulus Obama rammed through.

He won't change a goddamn thing. Nobody will listen to him, nobody will work with him. He will end up being a damn figurehead, an ornament in the White House, not a whole lot different than Queen Elizabeth.

And his supporters will scratch their heads and wonder why exactly nothing changed.

Don't know what a Trump Presidency will look like. Maybe the negatives of Nixon+Jackson+T.R. x10.

All I know is that having someone that thin-skinned near the red button is a scary thought.
