Never called it a "good thing"
so you and trump hold the same view here.
Never called it a "good thing"
I would like to remind everyone that...
Hitler ate sugar.
Do you know anyone who has also eaten sugar? If so you need to be suspicious of them.
Sure they did, when people objected to a Mussolini quote they objected not on the grounds of the meaning of the quote, but because Mussolini said it. Trump said in effect "**** that, it is a good quote", and he is correct.
No one has stated, implied, or suggested that you cannot quote Mussolini. No one. Your straw man has failed.
so you and trump hold the same view here.
Silly season is going to be really bad this year. I blame Trump...
Not the exact same obviously.
You can look at the quote that Mussolini modified to make his to see a bigger connection.
"It is better to live one day as a lion than one thousand days as a lamb."
Due to lack of honesty. That is the objection to the quote and everyone knows it. This is just a PC game we are playing here, and a lot of Americans have had enough of that game. "OMG! Donald said something that Mussolini said, so he must think like Mussolini, he will be the next Mussolini!"
**** that noise, it is the product of rotted out brains.
Is it really Trump that's the problem? Or does the problem lie with the voters who for that ilk?
It was a joke dude, and I further expand upon what was meant in a later post you might want to read.
I am sure he did not realize it was a Mussolini quote. This points to Trump really needing some one to manage social media for him, or if he has some one, then he needs some one different. Not that it will matter at all to those who support him, as they seem to consider things like this as some sort of positive.
No, that is not the objection to the quote. No one is saying Trump cannot say whatever he wants. That is simply spin you are making up. Dishonest indeed...
Right, they are saying that a decent civilized human who wants to be POTUS cant say it.
I dont agree.
1-As far as quotes go...its not bad.
2-What is REALLY LOL funny is they or anyone else for that matter thinks Trump gives a ****.
3-Ditto, Trump supporters. Hell...this might just gain him 3% points.
Meh...Gawker is probably similar to Trump. They have their fanboys that will cheer wildly at their little 'gotcha' stunt and they have Trump supporters that will see them they way they always have. I dont know if its a win win...more like a meh, meh.How many times have we heard " OMG, did you hear what Trump just said!, he is going down now!" If Trump did not go down for mocking a cripple he is not going down for retweeting a true statement in the form of a Mussolini quote that originated from a Gawker Bot that Gawker admits was set up for nefarious purposes. Gawker is the one who comes out of this with the stink on them, not Trump.
