Rubio Is going to be the VP

I have no inside information, but someone like Olympia Snowe would be perfect, one of these people who left because they got sick of the stench in Washington but are politically talented...and who has not been gone for too many years. Problem is the I dont know of anyone like that that Trump has a relationship with, it would have to be someone he has known fairly well for awhile.

Yeah, that's the realm of what I'm thinking. I don't have any real guesses either. If Arnold weren't ineligible I'd think he'd have a lock.

Yes he changes his mind. Pretty much everybody does over time.

He changes his mind like a 14 year old girl..(I raised one)...

Depends on the day what the Donald claims he thinks.

Now on big issues he has changed his mind 180. Ted Cruz is running a series of attack ads quoting Donald and his 180 turns. He is quoted as saying on many issues he identifies more as a democrat, he can change himself to be whatever he needs to be, that he thinks Planned Parenthood is good, pro-choice, and the Iraq war as good but poorly done... :peace

Do you think it could be Sessions? I dont know the nature of the relationship between these two but something is going on, Trump trusts Sessions enough to take one of his top guys to help run the campaign.

Trump needs guy who can work Washington, a guy who would make a good president if he should go down, he does not need any help from a VP to beat Hillary, he can do that on his own.

The man is almost un-electable because he is the real world version of an internet troll twisted into one with an internet/real time bully.

Trump is a political genius who has been winning elections.

Trump has been ten steps ahead of even the brilliant strategists working the other campaigns, I am out of guesses.

He may be unelectable in the Netherlands, but FYI, that makes him imminently electable here.

Says who? Based upon what?

Based on the guy's no political record, his hubris and is inability to tell the truth and give any details of his agenda or how he's gonna solve problems in this country and the fact that he's gone bankrupt so many times I can't count.

That's just for starters. I'm sure his several wives know all the other reasons.

Trump has no respect for Rubio, Cruz, or Kasich---only to be reinforced if he wins FL, OH, and keeps Cruz under 50% in Texas.
I see another VP can-di-date out there.

I agree with the sentiment that Trump wants Cruz to win Texas 3/1 to keep him around for 3/15 to split the vote.
Bringing President Bush-41 to the debate--will that calm things down?
Kasich looks like he's ready to rumble .

Trump is a political genius who has been winning elections.

Trump is a buffoon, racist, moron and idiot. He is a populist with questionable morals and he has not been winning elections. He has been top of the bunch of clowns that the republican party sadly has become. They may at one point have been a good and decent party, but sadly the people who are now running the republican party and morals into the ground are not the bread and butter of the republican party but who are really just wanting to hijack it for their own goals and I do not think the electorate as a whole is going to stomach them or their ideals/ideas.

Now that the debate is over and Kasich spend almost all of his time running for VP, I'd say there's a good chance it will be Trump/Kasich.

I'm a Kasich man but my opinion is that he would not accept a VP under Trump. Maybe Christie is gunning for the spot after endorsing Trump.

Wow. I've seen pathetic reaches before but I have to admit, this takes the cake.

His High School dance troupe dressed like Chippendales, and that makes him a...you know, I really don't get the point of this rag's piece and the pictures. I'll chalk this up to idiocy even lower than what the Clintons could put out.

Actually, this makes me like Rubio more. He's at least got a sense of humor.

Dude. Kasich is pretty obviously at this point staying in in hopes of getting enough electoral votes that he is valuable to Trump. Kasich has always been gunning for VP, just as Christie has always been gunning for AG, but hoping for VP. Both of them have decided to place their hopes on Trump giving it to them.

I mean, I'm sorry, but I have only a slightly worse chance of Jennifer Anniston calling me up and begging for a date than Kasich does of winning the nomination at this point.

His self-depreciation bit is excellent. The "revenge with a football" style ads would have done him a lot of good in any campaign not dominated by Trump getting constant free media by saying outlandish things.

I hear yah but I will really be disappointed if Kasich takes VP under Trump, even though he is my man. I would rather believe that he's delusional enough to think he can win or is hoping for VP under Rubio or Cruz, which I think he would accept. VP is really a worthless job. He's much more valuable as governor. If he's VP for 8 years he has no chance of ever being the pres due to his age, unless something bad were to happen.

I will feel the same about Rubio.

Incidentally, at this point, please consider with your vote that voting for Kasich only benefits Trump. I know that's a common pitch to people in your position, and you have to have heard it already, but we are at a time of choosing, and the choice matters.

VP can be a useful job for him under either Rubio or Cruz, I think, because of his experience. Especially for Cruz he would help unify the party, reassure moderates, and then be a good "front man" to Congress. Cruz won't be able to convince the Senate to give his administration the time of day - Kasich may be a different story.

I think that Rubio has not yet blown his chance to be VP, that for the moment Trump has this as " he was just doing his best to win, which I respect", but this is starting to get into Rubio having bad judgment territory, a couple more days of this and he can forget it.

Absurd claims are absurd.

What Cruz lamely relies on is old.

As for planned parenthood.
He is on the record saying he wants to defund it because of the abortion factor but also realized that it provides valuable services to women. And?

VP isn't the only posting. There are numerous cabinet posts as well as key advisory positions. Kasich is smart, he's aware Rubio and Cruz are going nowhere good this election cycle.
