There was an interview with Lindsey Graham by reporters from a local CBS station in South Carolina yesterday and the reporter told Lindsey they have gotten several reports of Rubio's people telling voters that Jeb Bush had suspended his campaign and to vote for Rubio.

Go to about the 2 minute mark.

I doubt Fox will report on such allegations but we shall see.

Dirty tricks, primaries, South Carolina... yeah about par for the course.

If SC was a caucus, I could see this making a difference while the caucus is going on so that people would switch sides and get counted for Rubio, just like Cruz did to Carson in Iowa. However, SC is a primary where one person votes at a time, so rumors are just that to most voters - rumors. I don't see this as making a difference in the outcome, plus I believe SC is a winner take all state, so only Trump received any delegates, meaning any chicanery by the alsorans (which is where I am looking for a sane person to emerge) would have meant nothing.

Oh I could see it easy to do at all the events/media where people were gathered even on election day passing a rumor to folks that Jeb suspended his campaign so vote for Rubio. One of the people who confirmed it was happening was SC state senator Katrina Shealy.

Obviously this would not be enough to influence the awarding of deligates, but I'm sure the hope was to influence any votes possibly, since conventional wisdom held that Gov Bush would drop if he could not attain 3rd place. Being in the top 3 seems to be seen as the cut for viable candidates to move forward, and of course viability determines financing, and financing determines (in part) performance (unless you're one Mr. Trump!).

It was true, or at least it was at the end of the day.

Because the state senator confirmed it was happening, that makes it more than just a rumor. You know the day of voting Rubio was on Fox with Neil Cavuto and went into this tirade about how Cruz can't be trusted and his campaign had people all over the place to make sure Cruz's team didn't pull any dirty tricks and here it was Rubio's team engaging in them. Rubio has Saul Alinsky down pat.

Yup, you beat me to it. If it happened in a caucus, that's one thing. If it happens in a primary, it makes like exactly no difference.

Roger Ailes spent a life-time doing television PR for the Republican Party and it's Presidents and their campaigns. So when Rupert Murdoch tapped him to start Fox News, where did we think their (Fox's) loyalty would lie?

To understand an organization, look at the top!

Yes it is true Roger Ailes and Murdock are big amnesty and open borders supporters. And that is a fact Jack.
But when looking to who is supporting Rubio, his big donors are Silicon Valley and the Chamber of Commerce.
Do you remember that movie Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice where everyone was in bed with each other? That's pretty well sums it up.

If there was a report that the Cruz team was responsible for making robo calls that Bush had suspended his campaign it would be all over Fox. Not one show on that network even brought it up. But they did trash Cruz because someone on his staff tweeted a false story about Rubio. Even after Cruz asked for his resignation. My candidate of choice is getting more fair coverage on CNN and MSNBC that it is on FOX. True story. But even gets more bizarre as there are others on Fox who are holding up Trump and trashing Cruz. Whether it is Trump or Rubio, they are trashing Cruz. It's propaganda pushed by the higher ups.

I read not too long ago that Trump would lose against Cruz.

Chomsky, I know you and I are opposites on many things. But something we both share in is seeking the truth and testing our own beliefs.
I am seeing an effort by Fox to destroy Cruz. Those with their knives out against Cruz now supporting Rubio are the same ones who were funding the Chamber of Commerce lobby for amnesty.

Hey if you have a chance, regardless what you think of Levin, download his broadcast tonight. He let it rip.And I think you would agree with him.

Well thank you, for the kind comment! (bolded)

By 'Levin', I assume 'Mark Levin'?

I'm not at all familiar with him; can you direct me to a source for the broadcast in question?
