Trump's War on W

A Trump nomination will give Democrats what they crave - two liberal Democrats on the ballot in November and an election they can't lose.

Good morning, CJ. :2wave:

Since I have never heard of a leopard changing his spots, you just might be correct! So with that in mind, do we go with the new guy or stick with the old dynasty? Lord, what a choice! I can't do either, so with that in mind, for the first time in my life, I guess I'll write in my choice. It's early yet, though, so maybe Dante's quote "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" won't come to pass? :sinking:

I just checked our weather, and it's supposed to reach a high today of 63 degrees - in NE Ohio in February? :screwy:

Good morning Lady P - no coat weather here today - except for last week, the winter's been great.

As for Trump, this conservative would rather see Hillary Clinton as President, much as it nauseates me, than to see the Republicans flirtation with that idiot get paid off with a win. Trump winning the White House could bury Republicans for decades.

Granted, but he'll still have to work with The Senate and Congress. If he chooses to go his own way he'd be a one-termer but he is also the author of The Art of the Deal, so perhaps he can work with others to get things done.

Here's what a real leader had to say on the subject of fixing blame:

Is there a real leader running this time around? Trump surely isn't it.

Jeb is the imagine of the establishment on the right as much as clinton is on the left. just because CNN told you rubio is the new establishment candidate, doesnt make it true.

TRUMP 2016

With the Nicki haley endorsement of Rubio, South Carolina may end up being do or die for Jeb. Rubio could end up being the GOP establishment candidate.

this "real leader" - do he got any tips for gettin busy on the side?

By which you must mean his extra marital affairs. I'm picturing Kennedy being grilled the way Clinton was grilled. I picture him saying, "None of your G D business who I've (bleep!)ed and who I haven't. Next question.

That's how Clinton should have handled the situation as well.

if you cheat on the one person in the world you're supposed to love more than anyone else, whats your word worth to me? im supposed to trust you?

as per Clinton he was also disrespecting the office - the people that served before him and those that would serve after him. just shameful, skunky behaviour. do that on your own time, away from the White House.

The president doesn't work 9 to 5. There is no "own time" for him.

I read on another thread a possible reason Trump may be bad mouthing particular republicans and saying a few things that get's him boo'd lately.

Pardon me if someone else may have mentioned this earlier in the thread. I have not read all the pages.

Consider this.

Is it possible that Trump is totally confident he has the nomination locked in? Is it possible that he as garnered all the simpler minded republicans he can and is now going to focus on attracting the simpler minded democrats, by saying the things they want to hear? That's kinda brilliant actually.

Don't forget if Trump is the Republican nominee, the Republicans lose the Senate and the White House. Trump will never be elected President - a nauseating, lying bitch will get more votes than a crass, vulgar, ignorant, combover blowhard.

If Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination then Democrats here on this site and elsewhere were right all along - Republicans are too bloody stupid to run the country.

This coming from a guy who stumps for Jeb here. I like you CJ, but that's just hilarious.

Consensual sex with another adult does not make one a pervert. It makes them a philanderer.

When you cheat on your wife with a girl roughly the age of your own daughter, that perverted. We will not even mention the cigar/thermidore thang.

I don't "stump" for Jeb Bush, but I have been touting him as the best, most competent choice for the Republicans for a couple of years, at least. He's easily the most accomplished with by far the best temperament for the office of President and he wouldn't make your highest office a laughing stock around the world.

But hey, it's not my choice - I and others just have to live with the consequences.

As I've said many times, Donald Trump would never hire an inexperienced person to run his business empire, one who's never run a business before, so why would anyone want to hire Donald Trump to run a multifaceted government? You've just suffered through 7 plus years of an arrogant, know-it-all, liberal neophyte leading your country - why do you want more of the same, with the vulgarity and the bombast mixed in?
