Despite being in the Senate for years and hardly getting anything done by blaming it all on a rigged system that lines his pockets comfortably enough to make him a minor celebrity in his home State of Vermont. Bernie Sanders is hardly revolutionary. Even his "new" ideas are stale and he has a pretty robust hand-picked Democrat political machine indirectly running his campaign for him. Don't just take my word for it, someone else did the work for me. In this article:

I agree, in general.

He's not the Socialist radical he's sometimes portrayed to be, particularly as portrayed by the Right.

He's basically a Social-Democrat, and supports a mixed-market economy, but is further left leaning than the former Secy.

And I believe his self-proclaimed 'Socialist' moniker will limit his acceptance by Indies and even some Dems, to say nothing of Conservatives and the GOP.

He acts as though he still believes in the McGovern creed.

He is the opposite of revolutionary. He wants the same thing Obama wants and that is an America made in the style of Europe. If he won, he would govern more like Obama than Hillary would.
