Trump is the first of many Trumps

Trump is a loser whose rhetoric is driving away the people whose support he would need to win.

Odd, he's now leading Hillary according to CNN.

Trump is a lot of things but one thing he would never be is anybodies patsy. The GOP nightmare you speak of is one of their own making.

I agree

GOP has had 8 years to come up with a viable candidate, they wanted us to swallow Bush 3 or that big boy from NJ

WTH

Somehow I think you will not be saying that on election night lol

Winning?
"Look, you want to hustle, don't you? Hustling isn't like football- nobody pays you for yardage."
Trump isn't winning anything. He might be ahead in polls with six or eight or whatever other horses on the track but when all but one of those horses have retired, their backers won't be there for the Donald. He'll still have his 20 or 25 percent when it's just him and one other.

it will come to a point, just like the left, when they loose bernie, they will jump to the nominee.....

Trump is winning because he reflects the anger of white blue collar Republicans who have not benefited from Republican economic polices.

I acknowledge that the Democrats have not done much to help them either. Democrats favor more immigration. Immigrants compete for jobs and depress wages.

I think working class gets screwed by both sides, which is another reason trump is popular.

The only polls that count are the ones that the voters will be going to in November.

Trump supporters aren't uninformed, they're misinformed.

It's this arrogance I have to laugh at, as if one who votes for hillary is any better "informed".

I posted an article asking if he was a Democrat plant.
It was the Washington Times last time, this time I will link BBC America.
I'm not sure that he is, but I find it interesting that no one can either a) fathom the Democrat party doing this or b) Trump doing this...

BBC News: US and Canada

Trump may not necessarily be the Democratic Party's tool, but he's smart enough to know that while his rhetoric guarantees him the top spot on the GOP ticket, it will doom his general election prospects.

Therefore, it's rational to believe that Trump's objective is to make the GOP lose the Presidential race.

And his strategy is indeed achieving that goal, and it's repeatable.

His objective and what will be his outcome are very likely different things. You might be right that Trump will lead to a November victory for the Democrats, but it's unlikely (given that so many people besides him agree with his positions) that he's actually just making **** up so the Dems win.

True.

I predict trump will win. He'll be bad, but the one good thing that may come out of it is dismantling of the republocrat corporate crony system that favors large corporations at the detriment of the rest of the country.

Hillary would just continue this.

The GOP made no big changes after 2008 or 2012 and I predict that it will make no big changes after it loses in November. The old White men will still be calling the shots for the GOP next year.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

as opposed to the democrat party..... MIRITE?

If nothing else, Trump is clearly the most entertaining candidate. Since politics has become a circus that could well be appropriate.
