Sarah Palin is getting better

Americans have (inadvertently) killed FAR more innocent civilians while butting into regions/countries that are none of her business (i.e. 'policing the world') over the past 10 years then all of the terrorist's put together, I would bet.


If the West stops butting into matters that do not concern them (like the Middle East) AND do not let terrorists draw them into their conflicts...then the terrorist attacks against the west would practically stop.

Let other countries solve their own problems. Offer them humanitarian aid/peacekeeping and move in ONLY when there is mass genocide. But otherwise - leave them the hell alone.

1 of the scariest things in politics over the past 50 years is that if McCain won in 2008 Palin would have been a heartbeat away from the presidency. 1 of the dumbest and most dangerous people in politics could have been a heartbeat away!! Very scary.

Even people who hate Obama should thank him for winning in 2008.

Palin was correct. Islamist Savages are trying to commit genocide in the Middle East, including attempting to wipe out Christians. Retreating to the obligatory "oh you have to put in the caveat that it's only a small number out of the total global population of Muslims" schtick does not change that fact.

I think she still looks great. She's over 50. I met her a few times in 2008. She is a naturally very attractive woman. She keeps herself in amazing shape, and she has the most beautiful and flawless skin I've ever seen on a female politician.

I don't find her words interesting or noteworthy anymore. I look for her opinions and comments to the same degree I look for Tim Pawlenty's or Gary Hart's. Her time came and went a long time ago.

The Palins have entered the Kardashian Zone. We are hereafter sentenced to hear everytime a Kardashian or Palin farts in public. Unfortunately these two groups of people are more than willing to get themselves in the news.

Even though I don't watch Kardashians tv shows I have been subconsciously indoctrinated to learn their names and Bruce Jenner connection.

The two groups are like mosquitoes. They are that annoying.

Why would there be "the perception" that's she's somehow getting better?

She's like a person who spends half their lives going to different therapists. They become what is called "counselling savvy", which they use on each of the therapists...but with a more and more proficient means of articulating the "professional jargon" and a great ability to manipulate responses given to their therapists.

In other words, over time Palin has learned more and more ways to deceive and manipulated the electorate. She's become "politician savvy". She'll say whatever a particular demographic wants to hear.

Like Obama phrased it in 2008: "Putting lipstick on a pig - you still have a pig".

She was a moron/idiot prior to 2008 and remains to be the same today. Her only talent is to mimic political strategies that have been used over eons to cut down political opponents and hopefully grab the attention of those who aren't capable of seeing her through her charade.

She's a ****in idiot. So as VP I wouldn't be afraid of anything. Lots of VP's haven't been too bright. But as I may clear she'd be a heartbeat away from the presidency, and that's scary as hell.

Biden's a genius compared to her.

I am vacating this thread. I was not trying to stir up trouble, I had no idea that Palin was an emotional thing here at DP, was just curious if others thought that she was growing a lot...and maybe one day might be the leader that McCain mistook her for.

I think I have my answer.
