Fiorina gets heated over planned parenthood (video)

I haven't been watching the debates much, so I am not sure if this is typical Florina. I caught this video in a CNN news feed, and she comes off really childish to the point it's obnoxious.

From the second she opened her mouth, "Oh, please, really Chris," I couldn't stand her. She sounds like Kim Kardashian or something.

I can't believe people are actually funding the woman's campaign.

 
All candidates make mistakes and make misstatements. Florina, for whatever reason, chose her originally mistaken comments regarding PP as the hill on which she wished her campaign to die. She would not let it go and now it won't let her go. We will never know if Florina had a good shot at the big time. Her national political future is past tense because of her bone headed handling of her PP faux pas.

She is just looking for a sweet book deal. It worked for Palin but Fiorina has not generated the notoriety that Palin accomplished.

Most likely she will just go sit in the corner with Herman Cain.

This is why she has spent the last decade unemployable in her former chosen industry, and why today's CNN poll puts her polling at 1%! :doh

Yeah, we may have finally seen the beginning of the end of the Karl Rove playbook technique of brazenly and arrogantly doubling-down when found wrong, at least for some candidates.

Dr. Carson was flying high when he met his Waterloo in just the same fashion as Ms. Fiorina. He's still living in his fantasy world of lucky knife fights, crop storage pyramids, and his West Point scholarship! :doh

I hope you're right about the end of Karl Rove tactics. I am getting tired of the tactics.

Florina looked like everything I can't stand about politics in that clip; manipulative, squirmy, irresponsible, and fake. All of the plastic surgery, dye jobs, and hairpieces these people are getting is even getting on nerves. I just want to see somebody/something authentic.

And politicians should get used to the press questioning them. Anybody running for president should be grilled.

To add:

We start a thread for each new debate in the 2016 debate section here, were we can banter-about in realtime with each other while watching the debate.

During the last debate the consensus on the single best word to describe her was: "Snarky"!

I think that's a very apt description! :mrgreen:
