question for the American left

I have a problem with the fact that Hillary has been deemed for reasons I don't understand to be the Democratic candidate we'll be permitted to have over the Democratic candidate who is consistently honest and holds to the principles our party supposedly stands for.

If you mean Bernie he isn't even a Democrat. You can vote for him though and if he gets enough votes he will be nominated. How else would we choose?

Sanders is running as a Democrat. As for the point of my post, the media is treating him as a sideshow, nothing more. Every Democrat who listens to him agrees with 99% of anything he has to say, and would approve of his extraordinarily consistent and honest track record in politics. Yet nonetheless everyone just kind of shrugs their shoulders and says, "But oh well, NBC or ABC or whatever isn't reporting on him and someone told me on the internet that it's Hillary that's electable so I guess that's what we get."

There's this pervasive common wisdom that it's her turn, but screw that. She's better than the assclowns the Republicans are putting forward, but there's no way anyone can argue that she's the best candidate the Democrats can put forward. The whole thing is frankly ridiculous.

Godwinning on your first post. Awesome.

Lol...

It's funny because Bernie Sanders is allot closer to being a National Socialist than any of the GOP candidates

I am not a democrat or a liberal, but quite a few liberals I know are currently supporting trump, which shows both sides are absolutely fed up with bush and clinton monarchies and rank and file politics, to the extent they support a guy like trump just because he is non establishment. Some of those I know who did not cross party lines tp back trump want to back sanders, and the only people i see backing clinton are democrat loyalists not liberal loyalists.

Just how many liberals do you know? Seems an odd claim to make in Texas, be like me saying all the liberals I know in SW Ok, that would be 4 of us.... ;)

People I talk to think anyone but Trump, my 'theory' is push a nut job like Trump to make Cruz look moderate... :2razz:

I predict Trump will drop his Crazy Eddy act and look to appeal to more than the bigots and angry white guys- be interesting to see how that goes, he is a master at reading his target, ahhh audience. More in the mold of a Reagan rather than a statesman. Master of the Image over the issue. Reagan got elected with tremendous gaps in his knowledge of the world leaders, policy and budgets but simply dismissed all that with, 'he can hire people to handle all that'. Reagan's slogan was a 'New Dawn for America'- trump will make America great again...

Reagan was once a ardent democrat- then a supposed ardent Conservative- many of today's Conservatives say Reagan Conned them- he was not a 'true Conservative'.
Trump was once chummy with liberals and now decries them as the E-Vile amongst us... :doh

Some call trump the anti-establishment candidate- I call him the ultra-opportunist candidate- his pandering to whomever temporarily serves his purpose leaves ALL the other candidates in his dust. Hillary can't hold a candle to him.

There are many other candidates besides Bush and Clinton- claiming Trump is the dynasty blocker is false flag fudge... :peace

I actually now quite a few, since i live near a military town with people from all over the country moving here.

And I do not think it is any conspiracy, I really think they are getting fed up with establishment democrats and republicans, and are only supporting trump who is against their own ideologies simply because he does not bow down to either establishment and strikes fear in them.

Rather they do not back trump because they believe what he does, they support him because for them it is equal to giving a middle finger to both parties.
