Reuters: Republican Trump drops 12 percentage points

There are supporters for every candidate, even the lowest tier no-names on both the left and the right. Not one vote has been cast yet.

Karen Bohan and Andrew Hay definitely do not know how to write, nor do their editors know how to edit.

That 12 points cannot have just vanished into thin air.

To be fair, we are talking about Trump.. lots of hot air there, so ..

Trump is the new Teflon Candidate. Nothing has stuck so far. Even when he called Carly ugly. And now with his denials about the spastic news man.

that's because his supporters hate political correctness, and support the outlandish **** that he says at least partially for that reason. they'll drop him like a bad habit when they accept that he's the one candidate that Clinton will almost certainly defeat without much trouble, though. she would be the first unappealing legacy candidate to win the general in three election cycles, and she's fighting Democratic fatigue. this is the Republican party's race to lose, and so far, they're doing a great job at it.

the real question is whether Republicans will figure that out that Trump is unelectable before it's too late. i suspect that the Democrats want him nominated, and that's why the real dirt hasn't been leaked yet. what i can't figure out is why rich donors haven't already released it. the month or so before Iowa might be pretty interesting.

I used to think that too, but now I wonder about it.

The Donald on Meet The Press this morning said Fox has polling putting him ahead of Hillary.

Of course Fox is not famous for accurate polling.

But that's interesting.

Maybe there's hope for Republicans after all.... nah, probably not.

I've been following the polls quite regularly, 43 percentage seems like a statistical anomaly (or intentionally skewed somehow). The last rolling averages at real clear politics (11-16 to 19th) have Trump at 28.7%. So if your new numbers are correct Trump's actually gone up another 2-3% points.

Well it never works to compare different polls. The Reuters/Ipso poll compared to itself at a different end date is valid. Comparing RI of one end date to the RC of an entirely other date is not.

i trust that as much as i trust an MSNBC poll that puts Hillary ahead of Trump.

Fox isn't going to fudge a poll to help Trump. They want Trump gone in favor of an establishment candidate. That's why Megan Fox and the other moderators went after him in the first debate.
