Now before you jump down my throat for using the term Jungle Fever lets just remember that Spike Lee made a movie called Jungle Fever and nobody claimed that is was racist. As far as I know white people can say Jungle Fever. I am aware that Spike Lee doesnt want so-called 'white' people to use the N word or to write scripts for African American characters but as far as I know Jungle Fever is still cool. If society decides that it isnt ok then I am all for the Spike Lee movie Jungle fever to be banned but until Spike Lee says otherwise Im pretty sure that we can all use the term Jungle Fever. If anyone is offended I apologize. Mostly I didnt want my title to be too long. I was going to go with 'Should Charlie Browns Love Interest Be A Black Person?' But that seemed too long. And then I thought to use Jungle Fever instead. Im not trying to be racist at all. Just save space and make sure that you can read my entire title without it being cut off. So that you dont have to click on it to find out what it says. I hate that and Im sure that some of you do too.

If you didnt know Jungle Fever is a malarial fever that occurs in the East Indies but as slang it means - attraction to black people. This is what the Spike Lee movie Jungle Fever is about. It is about a white female having the hots for a black man ( Wesley Snipes ). Its kind of like 'Once you go black, you never go back'. Apparently back in 1991 a white female being attracted to an black man was unusual or something because Spike Lee felt that he had to make a movie about it. Im pretty sure that I had a black girlfriend as a teenager around 1991 so I must be quite progressive I guess. I had a little Jungle fever myself. Anyway - now it is 2015 and apparently Variety magazine still thinks that we need to make a big deal about interracial relationships. To me that would seem not only tokenistic but also quite passe. Its 2015 for Christ sake. Arent we past this? But apparently no.

Apparently Variety thinks that the Charlie Brown Princesse Lointaine ( google it ) character - the 'Little Red-Haired Girl' should have been replaced with a black girl. Apparently Charlie Browns love interest should be black or the new movie is not progressive. I heard this while watching The Factor the other day and I almost vomited with in disgust. I am so sick of these leftist lunatics trying to pretend that we are all a bunch of racist, misogynist, transgender hating homophobes from 1991 that it makes me feel physically ill. These people actually give me a physical reaction. I call it Leftist Fever. But its not good like slang Jungle Fever. Its more like the malaria kind. It is 2015 for Christ sake. We are past this and it is these leftists that are racist due to their tokenistic thinking. All these leftist loons do is make it seem like everyone hates blacks, or gays , or transgender, or females - when it is absurd. By forever searching for problems - these people are creating and exaggerating problems. So no - Charlie Brown should not have a black Princesse Lointaine. Charlie Browns Princesse Lointaine is the Little Red-Haired Girl. To change that is to mess with the entire Peanuts world. It is a ludicrous suggestion.

But a little modernization wouldn’t have hurt, especially in the diversity department. While Franklin remains Charlie Brown’s only brown friend, a non-white love interest would have been as progressive as Schulz’s tomboyish depiction of Peppermint Patty was back in the day.

What a jerk. This same lunatic would claim that females are some type of discriminated minority which is utter lunacy. Peppermint Patty might have been kind of progressive back in the day. Girl Power is certainly nothing new is it? But the left side of politics just cant allow minority politics to die so they create these ridiculous political agendas. we were overcoming gender role stereotyping back in 1950. And USA was leading the charge. But listen to a modern leftist and they will act like Americans hate and discriminate against females. It is utter nonsense. Give yourselves some credit America and tell these leftists to shut up. Please. If not for your own sake then for the sake of the rest of us western nations that must put up with your regressive cultural hegemony. You Americans are going backwards thanks to these freak leftists and you are dragging the rest of us with you. If you want to do something for females then maybe you could oh I dont know - stop trading with Saudi Arabia and the UAE? How about that? That could work. But they are your best buds arent they? US society is not the problem - it is your government.

You Americans cant make a Star Wars movie these days without turning it into some ridiculous equality crusade and race hustling vehicle. Every movie that comes out you get these crazy leftists counting the percentage of black characters and if it is not half then the film cannot win an Oscar apparently because it is considered to be racist.

So what is next? Maybe we could make a Captain America movie and make the Captain America character a transgender midget? Now that would be progressive. How about if a new Dukes of hazard movie where instead of a Confederate Flag painted on the cars roof we have one of those gay rainbow flags up there? Umm. What else could we do? Why dont you make a movie and use a black actor to play the role of US President.. wait. ou guys actually have a black President dont you? That wouldnt work. What about a reboot of the sitcom Good Times but instead of the family being black they could be white? That would be dyn-o-mite! Or maybe one black parent and one white parent would be safer. And their children could be Mexicans.

One minority that hasnt gotten any attention for a while is the Gingers. The poor Gingers are often forgotten. But here we have a movie coming out that has a Ginger as the Princesse Lointaine and variety wants her to be black? It is not 1991 for Christ sake and Charlie Browns Princesse Lointaine has been The Little Red-Haired Girl since 1950. If any group is underrepresented in media it is the Gingers and here we have a rare positive Ginger character that progressive Charles M Schultz included in Peanuts and the so-called 'progressives' want to take that away from gingers? Jesus Christ! What will Gingers have left if 'progressives' take The Little Red-Haired Girl away from them? Carrot Top? For Christ sake!

Peanuts already has a black character in Franklin and the character is not in any way tokenistic - it is representative. African Americans are only about 17% of the US population. Franklin is not a token character but a representative one.

So what do you say? Should Charlie Browns Princesse Lointaine have been a Nubian Princess in the new Charlie Brown movie? Or do you agree that so-called 'progressives' should shut up and stop attacking Americans with this ridiculous leftist political agenda nonsense? Is America really such an evil horrible racist and sexist and homophobic place like progressives never stop saying? Or should America get some credit for being one of the least racist and homophobic and sexist places on earth?

.

Look what they did with the Fantasic Four reboot flop.

Johnny Storm was black. how the heck is that possible since Susan storm is white and Johnny is her brother.
I am glad that the director stood firm with Schultz work.

I am sick of re-writes destroying beloved characters that I grew up with.
just like the muppets. they are gross and disgusting now and I won't watch them or get my kids what it either.

Jim Henson is rolling in his grave.
I am sure Schultz would have as well if they had made huge changes.

And don't even get me started on Black Santa!!!!
