"What happened to our party?" Kasich.

Sighs. Let me ask the question again then. Who do you think was begging Boehner to leave?? You said it wasn't the freedom caucus then who? BTW, I never said the Republican Party represented you. Where did this rant come from?

And who do you think created the Freedom Caucus? Do you think they'd exist if not for growing dissatisfaction amongst working and middle-class voters, who constitute the majority of their constituents? Whether that vehemence is properly directed or not it was working-class people who were demanding Boehner step down. Their concerns are minuscule compared to those of the big donor, but yet if you look even at the biggest Republican donors, they too are aligning further right. They're putting their money behind people like Ted Cruz, who almost perfectly aligns with the majority working-class.

When the working and middle-class vote for a Republican candidate it's never a case of voting for a preferred candidate, or the best candidate, it is always a case of voting for the lesser of two evils. That hasn't worked out very well for us, has it?

i've always liked Kasich. for me he is usually reasonable and practical in his approaches to the issues and what needs to be done. yes i consider him a moderate conservative and not a real diehard conservative. i'm just fine that idea.

who should stay in the race? trump, carson, rubio, fiorina, kasich, cruz and bush. the rest need to go for the good of the republican party.

Yeah, you let the low information, low class rabble, who gets their views from talk radio, and know nothing but division and anger run the party.

Get it?

Enjoy the new moronic party.

So you have no specifics, just name calling. You never disappoint.

Not name calling, I was quite specific, the party was handed to the angry, uninformed rabble.

And we know how that works out in the end.

Truth hurts

It can, yes. But you wouldn't know and you haven't dispensed any truth.

If you can't figure out how the party has become more and more stupid......well.....:)

(its my opinion, take it or leave it, just like I do of yours)

Its not up to me to figure out your nonsense. If you have some evidence the party has become 'more and more stupid' lay it out there. You wont, because you got nothing but rhetoric that has become "more and more stupid."

I recognize that it is your opinion. I just like to point out the humor in a person spouting uniformed 'opinions' calling others stupid.

You really hate it when someone has an opinion that isn't yours.

Too bad.

I was a Republican but there was no way I was siding with the leaders of the party they seem to be completely against the progression of society as whole.

Its hilarious that you can't make an argument about how pathetic the party has become, so you just make comments about me instead. :lamo

Tea Partiers are Tea Partiers and shouldn't be trying to claim that they are Republicans. Libertarians are Libertarians and shouldn't be trying to claim that they are Republicans. What Trump is I have no idea. All of these people knew that they couldn't win outside the Republican Party so they hijacked the party trying to claim that they are Republicans so they had a legitimate vehicle they could win with and are now trying to change the party to make it what they want. All it has done is create a civil war, weakening the party as a whole and strengthening the Democratic party, the exact opposite of what their goal was.

Conservatives are patriotic and therefore oppose illegal immigration.Conservative are also generally for small government, low taxes and oppose socialist programs.Kasich is the opposite and therefore no conservative.Tea party republicans tend to support conservative ideas. For Kasich to say ‘What has happened to the conservative movement?" is laughable when the man himself is no conservative.

Well, he unquestionably IS conservative on some issues and moderate on others. I think the Tea Partiers have tried to redefine conservative. To them, anyone who does not adhere to strict Tea Party principles (The Freedom Caucus) is not conservative. Therefore, Ronald Reagan is a traitor, along with Mitch McConnell and John Boehner.

The Republicans have did it to themsleves, nobody wants Democrat lite. IMO the Republicans need to become MORE conservative to have any chance of the party surviving.

Republicans have done it to themselves indeed. However, it's not because they've become centrists, but because they've moved so far to the right so as to be irrelevant.

You must watch CNN a lot?

Exactly!

Well, he unquestionably IS conservative on some issues and moderate on others.

That doesn't make him a conservative.Moderate these days is just a another code word for liberal. For him to whine about what happened to conservative is the equivolent of some lib-tard poster on this site whining about what happened to the republicans. Its a joke.

I think the Tea Partiers have tried to redefine conservative. To them, anyone who does not adhere to strict Tea Party principles (The Freedom Caucus) is not conservative.

What are Tea Party Principals? Low Taxes, balance the budget, shrink the size of government, strong military, opposition to illegal immigration and etc? I realize asking you to list some tea party beliefs might be the equivalent of asking a die hard atheist to list some religious beliefs.

Therefore, Ronald Reagan is a traitor,
He wiped his ass with the 2nd amendment. He signed the so called firearms owners protection act that banned Americans from owning new automatic weapons and created a list of prohibited persons that is now being used to try to mandate universal background checks. As governor of California is signed the Mulford Act, which infringed on someones right to bear arms.

Because of Reagan amnesty we now have 11 to 20 million plus illegal aliens in this country. This is why there is such a strong opposition to amnesty aka comprehensive immigration reform now.

Funneled weapons to Iran

Created the Taliban.

Pro-abortion despite claiming to be pro-life

Grew the size of government

Raised taxes 11 times in office
Which probably explains why the first Bush campaigned on no new taxes.

It amazes me how conservatives republicans can so much on Reagan's nutsack. Its almost the same way the liberal media is on Obama's nutsack. I am surprised that they don't make WWRRD?(What would Ronald Reagan Do) bumper stickers as much as some so called conservatives seem to praise Reagan. I am surprised liberal cartoonists aren't drawing a bunch of elephants and RINOs attending a Ronald Reagan Church. The man was not some great conservative as many republicans seem to think he is.

along with Mitch McConnell and John Boehner.

Republicans won both houses due to opposition to Obama-care, executive amnesty and out of control government spending.Right after winning both houses they signed the crony-bus bill that threw away any bargaining chips they could have used to stop those things.Even when they were winning on security bill they still caved. Bill.

I see that you claim yourself to be "slightly conservative". How do you define very conservative? I mean what far right wing policies are you against, being only SLIGHTLY conservative? Please list them. Moderate is moderate. It is only liberal to the far right, just as the far left wing nut jobs claim that moderate means conservative.

it's common for bottom rung candidates to get frustrated when their vision isn't seen as popular by their base.

maybe Kasich is unaware, but a moderate position is frowned up on nowadays (especially in the primaries).... no matter which party you're talking about.
