Sighs. Let me ask the question again then. Who do you think was begging Boehner to leave?? You said it wasn't the freedom caucus then who? BTW, I never said the Republican Party represented you. Where did this rant come from?
And who do you think created the Freedom Caucus? Do you think they'd exist if not for growing dissatisfaction amongst working and middle-class voters, who constitute the majority of their constituents? Whether that vehemence is properly directed or not it was working-class people who were demanding Boehner step down. Their concerns are minuscule compared to those of the big donor, but yet if you look even at the biggest Republican donors, they too are aligning further right. They're putting their money behind people like Ted Cruz, who almost perfectly aligns with the majority working-class.
When the working and middle-class vote for a Republican candidate it's never a case of voting for a preferred candidate, or the best candidate, it is always a case of voting for the lesser of two evils. That hasn't worked out very well for us, has it?
