That is, unless you hold the Sabbath on a Saturday. Also, Sunday-Service Christians will consort with the Devil and conspire to enslave/lock up Seventh-Day Adventists. Just more ridiculous beliefs this "genius" doctor holds. Wonder how his evangelical supporters will feel about him when they finally learn this fact?

Meh. On the list of Stupid Things Ben Carson Believes, this pings pretty low on my give-a-crap meter.

I'll be looking forward to tor, ahem, seeing his company there.

What do you think would be more shocking for an evangelical:

1. Carson believes in a literal six-day creation period
2. Carson believes 98% of Christians are hell-bound and pawns of Satan?

Huh. That's interesting. Turns out your article doesn't actually state that Carson believes that, or present any evidence of him believing it, and in fact, the only evidence from Carson himself on the matter turns out to be a campaign staffer saying that he doesn't believe that.

The evidence presented in favor of the argument in the OP is supposition based on the author (who is not a 7th Day Adventist) trying to interpret their belief system himself.

 typical anti-religion hack job.

:inandout:

Pfft, I'm going to hell for much better reasons than that.

Carson has publicly declared he believes in White's prophecies.

Carson has publicly declared he believes in White's prophecies.

 And Barack Obama has argued he's a Christian. In Christian Eschatology, billions of people are killed.

.....wait.....

OHMAGERD!!! OBAMMER WANTS TO KILL BILLIONS OF PEOPLES AND HE'S GOT HIS FINGER ON THE NUCULUR TRIGGER!!! EVER'BODY RUN AROUND AND GIT SKEERED!!!

That's about how intelligent the argument of the OP is. It's right up there with people demanding that Romney must wear magical underwear because he's a Mormon.

That and many other issues means he will never be POTUS.

Carson is a nutcase, the article is almost certainly correct, and this is hardly the most insane thing carson believes:
13 Ridiculous Things Ben Carson Actually Believes | ThinkProgress
Women who get abortions are like slaveholders
Obamacare is the worst thing since slavery
‘Hitler’ could happen in the U.S. today
Jews could have prevented the Holocaust if they had guns
College campuses should be monitored for liberal political speech
Muslims shouldn't be president
There’s a war on ‘what’s inside of women’

There’s no such thing as a war crime

Obama signed immigration reform to bring in government-dependent voters
Congress should be able to remove judges for voting for marriage equality

Ben Carson argued evolution was 'encouraged by' Satan | MSNBC
In a speech delivered in 2012, Ben Carson said the big bang theory was part of the “fairy tales” pushed by “high-faluting scientists” as a story of creation.

Similarly, Carson, a noted creationist, said he believed the theory of evolution was encouraged by the devil.

more accurately... Mother Jones is saying Carson believes you are all going to hell.... that's very different from your thread title( which is dishonest)

Ben Carson, himself, has never said that

I suspect his evangelical supports will not think anything of something he has not argued or said..
.... and I suspect any rational person would do the same

While I am no fan of Carson, any article headline that is a question can swiftly and reliably be answered with "No."

it reminds me of those captions in question form on FOX ,CNN, and MSNBC.

" is Obama Satan.. or just evil?

That and many other issues means he will never be POTUS.

I've read similar things from other libs here on DP. If he's religious, pro-2ndA and anti-abortion the liberals think he can't be elected. Guess what? More people identify themselves as Conservatives and Liberals in the USA. It's all about getting the Conservative base to turn out and the independents who are on the bubble. I'm sorry, but I just don't believe that America is so far gone to the left that we can't save her.

I wouldn't trust ma jones to be reliable toilet paper let alone as an information source.

From your linked Mother Jones article [bolding mine]:

Carson has yet to speak extensively and specifically about his religious beliefs and how they might shape his approach to governing the United States. Meanwhile, many evangelical voters—who attend church on Sunday—regard Carson as a Christian champion who ought to be placed within the White House. Perhaps they ought to wonder if Carson sees them as the spiritual enemy.

Let's take a step back and realize that the list of things any given religion or sect considers as a damnable offense is quite long, and that cumulatively this list just gets longer still.

I think it's safe to assume that we've all been marked for eternal damnation at one point or another by someone. What's one more?

It's just a nasty attack on the man's religion. Typical for that crowd.

So.. your argument boils down to "Ihave no evidence of my assertion, here are some straw man."

All in all, carson needs to correct this. Until then...
In a 2014 talk at a Seventh-day Adventist church in Australia, Carson signaled that he believed this is indeed what's coming. He cited "prophecy"—which is how Seventh-day Adventists routinely refer to White's predictions—and noted that the "persecution" of the Sabbath was on the horizon.
Is this what Carson believes? In that 2013 interview with the church's news service, he appeared to endorse enthusiastically the fundamental teachings of the church. (The Carson campaign did not respond to a request for comment.)
