Oh, now this is really going off the deep end over the Shooting. Yep, as the title points out. That's what Hillary is doing. She didn't say Trump by name but mentioned his remarks from when he made his announcement for the Presidency. Are the Demos going off the deep end or what?



While the nation mourns for the victims and their loved ones from Wednesday night's shooting, Hillary Clinton has found the root cause of the shooting... Donald Trump. She implied as such in an interview with Jon Ralston:

We have to have a candid national conversation about race, and about discrimination, hatred, prejudice,” Clinton said of the Charleston shooting in an interview with Jon Ralston on his show “Ralston Live.” "Public discourse is sometimes hotter and more negative than it should be, which can, in my opinion, trigger someone who is less than stable.”

Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate, did not say Trump's name, but went on to explicitly mention remarks he made during his announcement speech on Tuesday, the day before a white gunman opened fire in a historically African-American church, killing nine people. “I think we have to speak out against it," Clinton explained. Oh my gosh, y'all are so desperate. She didn't say that at all, she used his comments as an example of the "hotter and more negative" rhetoric that may be stoking this. And since we here at DP have a very long thread discussing whether or not the heated rhetoric of the extreme Right stoked this circumstance, I guess it's a valid perspective. But hey, haters with hot and inflammatory rhetoric gotta hate and spout false exaggerations, so carry on.

Yeah, MMC, but all of the anti-gun crowd conveniently forget (or purposefully omit - thinking of Chicago and Washington DC) the often times where even the current gun control laws miserably fail. It just doesn't exist in their reality, and probably never will.

Headlines are to get your attention, they don't tell the whole story or even an accurate truth, regardless of liberal or conservative slant. Just reading your quoted sections pretty much proves me right. She saying we need to quit stirring up hatred, and Trump is one example of people on the right doing that. She doesn't say he's responsible, in some independent way, for the shooting. That's the media's slant. And y'all claim the media is all left-wingy... too funny.

"Can spark" is completely different than "caused". Also, I disagree with Hillary. Trump is factually incorrect but nobody is going to go out and murder because of the spark Trump may of caused.

So what you are saying, if I understand you correctly, is that the biased lame stream media's headline asserts a ridiculous thing that the majority of reading will simply accept as true, and only those readers who read the related article will come to understand that it isn't true?

Kinda deceiving of the media, isn't it?

I wonder, if you did an analysis of headlines how often conservative public figures are treated this way, and liberal / progressive / Democratic public figures aren't, what sort of results such a study would reveal?

It appears that the entire News Industry is all pointing out how she implied. That Trump is to blame. Also words like Suggest and Allude all give it the perspective that is ongoing and in the now!

The Telegraph and its Trump Like Comments shows it for what it is. Just what are Trump like comments identified as? Even the NY Daily says she then took AIM at the Donald.

She's not blaming Trump. She's blaming heated rhetoric and using Trump as an example of it. I don't blame her. The shooter allegedly told his victims "you're taking over our country" before he murdered them. That echos the "taking back our country" rhetoric that Trump and other conservatives frequently use.

She is blaming Trump.....just like the NY Daily stated. Took Aim at the Donald. What Think Progress say she did? What about the Demo Underground? They get it wrong too?

Doesn't matter which word they used. Implied, Suggested, and Alluded to what? To blaming Trump. Now that's the way the industry, Pundits, And all in the knowing took it. There is no other spin.
