He's by far the best salesman that the gun and ammo industry have ever seen. It'd really be a laugh to find out that THEY got him elected. :)

My guess is he would be a good salesman for most things. I was unaware that he was involved in the gun industry. In fact I tend to think you made that up.

Simple - remember the tried and true mantra of "They're coming to take our guns" any time a dem is elected? This increases gun sales.

Now recall the massive AR-15 and/or "assault rifle" ban that was going to happen (but never happened) after the Adam Lanza massacre.

"Fear" over what Obama was going to ban drove sales of weapons and ammo through the roof.

Yes, I know.. It's 2015, and people's guns have not been taken away, no one has been put into FEMA camps, the Islamic horde has not taken over the U.S., and Obama has not risen as the anti-christ. I wonder when they will feel like dumbasses.

i think hoarders pushed that more than any conservative.

i have watched right as those threats were made,ammo was running dry on shelves,problem was it wasnt everyday shooters buying them,it was mostly hoarders buying the ammo to flip it.it happened with 223 then later with 22lr. i am sure we have atleast one more scare to go so ammo flippers can make a profit,and so hunters sportsmen etc need to pay well above market price to shoot.

What he's saying is that irrational fear of Obama drives gun sales and ammunition sales to a ridiculous degree. The NRA, which is basically a lobbying and advertising wing for gun manufacturers, said from Day One that Obama was coming for your guns and was going to ban X and Y, and gun enthusiasts ran out and bought whatever was being "threatened" en masse while they still could.

Don't forget Bill Clinton sold a ton of guns as well. Between him and Obama, our citizenry is well stocked with firearms.

I know what you mean. Obama never even considered any gun control regulation until after the shootings in Connecticut but the paranoia was in full force the day after his election.

Whatever happened to my response to you? Hmm.... Guess you got a little shy and tongue tied after I proved that even the NY Times commented on Obama's criminal actions of supplying al Qaeda and ISIS...

It was as you say Obama's Iran Contra, but he had help from Qatar, and Turkey. In fact Stevens met with a diplomat from Turkey just hours before the attack and his death. Obama has financed, trained and supplied ISIS terrorists, al Qaeda, it's affiliates and the Muslim Brotherhood.
