So much for BO peeps deal.....Rubio and Walker are the first out and will scrap Bo peeps deal thus giving him that Mental slap Right upside the fool's head. Good news is.....all Republican Candidates are going to be asked this very question. All are going to need to answer it and none of them best be wishy washy over it.

Lets hope Iran picked that up on their News Channels.

Rubio, Walker: Yep, I'd Immediately Scrap Obama's Iran Deal As President.....

A no-brainer on politics and substance alike. President Obama's rumored deal (which got worse today) with Iran's terroristic regime is causing bipartisan heartburn on Capitol Hill, is worrying even typically skittish allies, is viewed as unacceptable across the board in Israel (and certain Arab capitals), and isn't likely to find a receptive audience among American voters. Leaked details reveal that Iran's nuclear program will gain international legitimacy under the bargain, which keeps the country's nuclear infrastructure in place, as well as 6,000 centrifuges spinning. It demands nothing of Iran on its illegal missile program, its sponsorship of terrorism and outsourcing of chaos in the region, or its abysmal human rights record. It reopens the money spigot to pump money back into Iran's economy, which has been battered by sanctions (the primary reason they're at the negotiating table in the first place). And its restrictions begin to phase out after ten years, regardless of Tehran's behavior. Also, Iran's team is now insisting on more immediate sanctions relief, before they've demonstrated any meaningful or lasting compliance.

Rubio says that as president, he'd "absolutely" vitiate any agreement Obama strikes with Tehran without Congressional approval. Allahpundit wonders if geopolitical realities would allow the next president to just summarily flush the deal down the toilet, which goes to the heart of Obama's myriad executive power grabs: Take actions that may not have the binding force of law beyond January 20, 2017, but that would be politically difficult to roll back. What a President Rubio could do here is urge Congress to pass a brutal battery of sanctions that would be triggered by any amount of Iranian cheating, "accidental" or otherwise. He could also seek to expand the terms of the deal to shut down Tehran's long-range missile program, then use their furious objections as a very good excuse to walk away and lower the sanctions boom. Here's Scott Walker, also with Hewitt, torching the reported deal:.....snip~

Yep, even a bad deal with Iran can be spun into "an unprecedented diplomatic achievement" and any sanctions that our congress critters want would have to clear a pesidential veto and even then would require a treaty, to get the force of international law, which Obama is unlikely to seek or sign. Obama still thinks that the Bergdahl trade was a good deal for the US. Meanwhile, Iran will continue to expand its control over other ME nations and move forward with its nuclear weapons program for the next 22 months (at a minimum). Yes, he can!

Only with the help of a complicit media, which he already has in his pocket, as has been demonstrated time and time again.

Granted, Senate may proffer up additional sanctions, and those will likely be vetoed, but without the Senate approving and passing the final version of Iran deal its little more than a presidential diplomatic thought experiment.

If the Senate has to vote economic sanctions against Iran into place, how is it that Obama can lift then with a presidential order? Wouldn't the Senate have to vote to lift them as well they are the body that put them into place in the first place?

Mornin Ttwtt :2wave: Which is why Rubio and Walker are talking about it will be one of the very first things they do to turn over BOs failed policies. Although there needs to be MAJOR pushback and not just from Repubs but those Demos who ready to override BO's Veto.

People need to be on the MS media over this and going after their reporters for not jumping BO and his Team with what all Iran is doing and has done.

Menendez and the Kirk Bill need to be sent and so to Rubios and Cottons.

You forget that other nations are going along with the Obama agreement (that want to openly trade with Iran) and thus it supersedes their prior sanction agreement not to do so. Our congress critters, unlike our POTUS, cannot go it alone on matters of foreign policy. Our constitution may not allow the POTUS to sign "real treaties" but our constitution has no bearing on how other nations view international agreements signed by Obama and their leaders.

It will be a 2016 campaign issue but that alone means that any US executive policy change will actually occur no less than 22 months from now - tick tock. tick tock...

As with the Bergdhal deal only elections have real consequences as far as what is controlled by the POTUS.

Well the Saud, Jordanians, and Egyptians aren't. Which means Qatar, UAE, and Kuwait won't. Then Pakistan and Israel, even though France wants a deal. They don't want to give up all these concessions that Bo and his Team are.

I would have thought that the other nations would have followed UN sanctions which are already in place.

Since the UN only works by unanimous vote, any single nation can block any change (at least to mun understanding), so lifting of existing UN sanctions isn't likely, as is any additional sanctions, at least one would think.

Rubio has been slamming BO peep pretty good......Goash hasn't wanted to say to much about Rubio, yet. Still more Repubs and Demos need to come out questioning BO's intentions.

If Obama told Walker that breathing Oxygen is bad for you Walker would reflexively commit suicide.

Yeah, following BO peep Right off that same cliff.....except Walker wouldn't trip and look clumsy.

An equally absurd statement as your first. :doh

Rubio and Walker are good examples of candidates tripping over themselves trying to appeal to the B.S.C. wing of the Republican Party, which is now its base. The reality is, stating now they will renege on the deal before anyone has any opportunity to have read it, since it is still being negotiated, excludes these two as serious candidates.

Oh, you were trying to make a point. Is that what you called that. Well, if you think so, I'll agree that you think so. But that's as far as I would go with it. Just sayin.

yup, that you (and the rest of the GOP mouthbreathing base and politicians alike) can be baited into predictable traps based on purely partisan opposition, especially on topics you lack education on.

Of course a possible deal with Iran is bad because the same people who told you that

President Obama was born in Kenya
His BC is a forgery
wants to kill old people
the stimulus will cause hyper inflation, dollar collapse and market to zero
Obamacare will destroy the economy
SOCIALISM SOCIALISM SOCIALISM
will confiscate all guns
something something Jones act
secret muslim terrorist
bunch more stuff about Obamacare
the vile and disgusting stand down lies

told us its a bad deal. Cons, your radio masters really appreciate your gullibility.

"Rubio and Walker put Obama and Iran on Notice March 2015....."

That should have him shaking in his boots.

Heya FMW. :2wave: Well truthfully its not like Walker can get a bill passed, but BO is worried that Rubio would push a bill to impose sanctions.

He isn't as worried as much now.....as he was. Especially with Menendez stepping down from the Committee due to the Indictment he received.
