For the most part, if you turn on a tv, an FM radio station, or go watch a movie, you will likely be reminded of an example or two of conservative hypocrisy by the overwhelming number of progressives who produce mass entertainment and media in America. But what you wont hear about are the examples of hypocrisy among the political left. At some point everyone is going to contradict themselves, or be hypocritical. Its part of being imperfect, which we all are, even liberals believe it or not! It becomes a problem when hypocrisy becomes common, and people start to contradict themselves often.
Once I became a republican supporter in the early 2000's, I started to realize that conservatives werent the stupid, uncaring, inflexible monsters they are made out to be in popular media sources. But also, as I looked deeper into the realities involving politics, ideologies, and learned more about the major issues, I realized that most of the hypocrisy, contradictions and double standards were coming from the left. The problem was/is, that they have disproportionate influence in mass communications and media, and therefore you rarely hear about these types of credibility issues pertaining to the left. IN other words, there's no "truth to power" for the left. So lets finally point out the hypocrisy of the American left and the democratic party...
A few examples off the top of my head:
4. When Bush was in office, media progressives regularly gave us a tally of the death tolls in Iraq and Afghanistan, even suing to get access to the flag-draped-coffins being delivered to Dover AFB, so that they could take video of them and play it on national news(which became great anti-Bush imagery). Yet, as soon as Obama took office, and broke his promises to get us out of both wars ASAP, the media's flag draped coffin images abruptly ended, and they essentially stopped giving death-tallies! IN other words, it was really never about "caring for the troops", as much as it was about demonizing republicans! Otherwise they would have continued reporting death tolls and showing coffins flying in.
3. Libs made a big issue about the so called "Birthers", who wanted clear documents proving Obama's citizenship, and some didnt believe he was born in America. This really wasnt that big an issue, and the vast majority of conservatives and conservative show hosts were NOT birthers, but the left made it into a huge scandal. Yet, many progressives tried to unseat GW Bush because of fabricated documents related to his AF reserve career.
2. Libs have the audacity to complain about the slight right wing bias at Fox news, saying that biased journalism is bad for democracy, yet they dont seem to think that 45 years of overwhelmingly progressive bias and deception in media is a problem for democracy!
1. During Bush's 8 years, the media criticized Bush daily, always trying to injure his credibility, while blaming him for essentially everything that didnt go well from 2001-2009. However, from day 1 of Obama's presidency, those same progressives have worked tirelessly to convince us that Obama is responsible for absolutely nothing bad, but he is the reason for everything good that happens! He made gas cheaper for Gods sake(but it wasnt his fault that gas was REALLY expensive for 95% of his 6 years)LOL
