Congress Relies on the "Stupidity of the American Voter" All the Time

It's not that simple, but if it pleases you to make it so, have at it.

Given the last 20 years, yeah it is that simple. BOTH parties have and continue to screw this country all in order to keep in power. The support of one is just the support of the country going further in the crapper.

I would never deny that both parties behave reprehensibly at times. This time the dems have been shown to have behaved reprehensibly. Each time such things are exposed, regardless of party, they should be corrected. If another political party appears that offers more than the existing two do, so much the better. Until then we are forced to deal with what we have, and it is our responsibility to do so.

Noone is forced to do anything in regards to voting, that is all on YOU. If YOU are part of the problem, than that's on YOU. YOU weren't forced to vote GOP or Dem.

Never said I was. I will be forced to participate in the ACA at some point if it continues, though.

Nope just facts. Saying that BOTH the Dems and the GOP should not be trusted is not defacto support for either side. That is the fact and something you cannot refute. You were defeated from the start. :2wave:

Would it help your understanding to say it's a matter of degree and Obama and his Party has a six-pack of major scandals so far as opposed to a here-and-there in other Administrations?

I don't think you can make the equivalency argument here. The dems engaged in intentional deceit to pass a massive piece of legislation that will impact the lives of every American. That is inexcusable and reprehensible. And there is no parallel to this from the right. The entire law should be revisited and discussed openly and honestly. Hopefully the pending SC decision will make that happen.
