Not MY need but the need for society as a whole. Obviously, the needs of society change over time therefore the laws change, as well.

I'm having trouble finding the clip (there's thousands) but essentially he was talking about ancient Israel and how they killed gays and something about how we should be doing the same.

He's generally backed down from statements like that in the last few months but he DEFINITELY supports criminalizing homosexuality and he's a big fan of Putin and Russia because of what they've done.

Guys mental.

But even if it were not the majority, I would fully support changing the law. Basic rights, including those of contract, should not be up for a popular vote.

Then you know that "rights" are not what you think they are. They are under constant challenge and attack. Stop coming after my 2A rights, then I will not worry as much about your special rights you want.

The term "under the law" does not only mean under a specific law.

Its more understood meaning is--- under the whole body of laws of the US[rules, regulations, and federal statutes], constitutional reasonings, judicial rulings, and the Constitution itself...all these make "the Law".

A state law NEVER trumps a constitutional right.
