GOP talking heads' attacks on President Obama's daughters

If it is....I don't get it. There is nothing in the NRA ad that attacks Obama's daughters in any way whatsoever. It does attack Obama for his own hypocrisy..being okay with armed security protecting his own daughters but not supporting armed security at public schools.

I have been. There was no mention in your OP that this post is to prove to certain DP members that GOP has attacked Obama's daughters. You should have opened up saying simply that you were asked and by whom to post links of GOP making fun of Obama daughters. Then before making the post, you should have found those links and posted them all together. You are coming off as desperate and baiting with a thread like this. Doing it the other way would have been a calmer debate if you laid everything out CLEARLY. There is also doubt that your links are unclear as well.

Or you should have at least named this thread: Proof! GOP talking heads have attacked President Obama's Daughters in the past. or something like that.

That is because you have a non-progressive and therefore outdated definition of the word "attack."

In the modern discourse, if you have been paying attention, an attack is when anyone uses anything about Obama, Michelle, the kids, Jar Jar, Holder, Reid, Pelosi, or certain leading democrats for anything but the deepest praise. You are, of course, racist as well if you question Obama policy

Kerry and Hillary are mostly exempt for now.

However, laughing at one lone colored infant in a group of WHITE REPUBLICANS is funny, claiming Bush was a drunk was OK since he sorta was many years before he was president, and saying Sara Palin is a slut is encouraged because everyone does it.....

The English language is a work in progress, the progressives are simply adding their own steroids to the process.

No, I believe that is something entirely different requiring a certain amount of grey matter top be altered from its natural state. That philosophy comes from a kind of stupid innocence, whereas this is deceitful.

The result is the same however, one will get a perfect view of 1850's slavery by reading 'adapted" versions of Tom Sawyer now redacted to read 'black man' where the word used in that time has been expunged; the net result being one asking "what was so bad about slavery? they were treated politely

1. The Beck ad definitely ridiculed the daughters. That it is dated or apologized for does not detract from the OP's point.

2. The NRA uses the daughters as political pawns to make a political point, subjecting them (children) to public embarassment. Over the line.

3. Coulter is using probably a false premise to suggest GOP'ers to attack the daughters. This is a sick person. I wish that clip would have included Hannity's response. Again, age of the clip does not negate the general point/tactic.

4. The Halle Berry story is just hateful hard right cons on the internet being hateful hard right cons. No news there, but it explains why the talking heads push the hate Kool AId -- their listeners drink it up.

5. Congressman King, like the NRA, used the daughters at political fodder to foist hate upon their parents. Again over the line, and low brow.

I'd say the OP's point is pretty definitively made, and the ad hominem defenses are, well, stupid (again, typical).

Big deal. David Shuster said Hillary was pimping out Chelsea. That means to him Chelsea is a whore. People in the media say **** all the time that they shouldn't. Ignore it. I highly doubt the Obama daughters lose any sleep about something Glenn Beck said 4 years ago.
