Ho hum, yet another Benghazi report shreds conservative lies

Why on earth is that the "biggest issue"? As far as I'm concerned, it's the least consequential issue regarding the whole thing.

The breakdown in security is the biggest issue, and it should be for you too.

I support oversight and investigations.... all of 'em....

something about government accountability just strikes my fancy.... I'm old fashioned that way.
I don't like the modern outlook of not wanting the government investigated.... to me, that is corrupt and unethical (and a hallmark of the Republocrat) mindset).

I also don't believe it cost 14 million dollars....no way in hell.
I'll bet a dollar to a donut it actually cost next to nothing in extra funds.

They mounted a rescue mission because they were Americans trying to help other Americans on a purely ad hoc basis. They had no security responsibility whatsoever for either the Ambassador personally or for the State Dept. compound. Those are the exclusive purview of the State Dept.'s Bureau of Diplomatic Security.:peace

Terrorist attacks have happened before and will happen many more times. But when a failed leader has to resort to blaming a video for an attack, that to me is a BIG issue. Never heard of any other President blaming a video on any attacks before.

Does the (often disputed) "fact" that the video had nothing to do with the attack make the people who died at Benghazi any less dead?

The video WAS responsible for numerous demonstrations throughout the Middle East at the same time.

It's funny how the same people who completely absolve Bush for the false intel that took us into war with Iraq pillory Obama for the false intel that the video may have had something to do with the attack.

The problem isn't with Bush, it's with the people who happily forgave him for mis-steps that they are attempting to crucify Obama for. It's called hypocrisy, dear boy, and your side is soaking in it.

So because no Republican administration (there's been only one since YouTube was invented) claimed a YouTube video was the impetus for a terrorist attack, that means ... what, exactly?

A Republican president certainly claimed that Al Qaeda "hates us for our freedoms," which is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
