The woman at the center of the scandal over Hillary Clinton’s defense of an alleged child rapist speaks out in depth for the first time.

Hillary Clinton is known as a champion of women and girls, but one woman who says she was raped as a 12-year-old in Arkansas doesn’t think Hillary deserves that honor. This woman says Hillary smeared her and used dishonest tactics to successfully get her attacker off with a light sentence—even though, she claims, Clinton knew he was guilty.

The victim in the 1975 sexual abuse case that became Clinton’s first criminal defense case as a 27-year-old lawyer has only spoken to the media once since her attack, a contested, short interaction with a reporter in 2008, during Clinton’s last presidential campaign run. Now 52, she wants to speak out after hearing Clinton talk about her case on newly discovered audio recordings from the 1980s, unearthed by the Washington Free Beacon and made public this week.

In a long, emotional interview with The Daily Beast, she accused Clinton of intentionally lying about her in court documents, going to extraordinary lengths to discredit evidence of the rape, and later callously acknowledging and laughing about her attackers’ guilt on the recordings.

“Hillary Clinton took me through Hell,” the victim said. The Daily Beast agreed to withhold her name out of concern for her privacy as a victim of sexual assault.

The victim said if she saw Clinton today, she would call her out for what she sees as the hypocrisy of Clinton’s current campaign to fight for women’s rights compared to her actions regarding this rape case so long ago.

T ...I ask you do we really want this woman as president?

Click the link, and then add "ml" to the end of the URL and then hit enter on your keyboard. It works then.

Edit: The thread title seems to be brought to you and sponsored by Jack Daniels, either that, or the Alzheimer Coalition.

Not seeing the scandal in a defense attorney defending a criminal defendant.

There's abigger story here.

University of Arkansas library suspends Washington Free Beacon’s research privileges

>" The Washington Free Beacon has been combing through document archives at the University of Arkansas for a series of stories about Hillary Clinton. This week, however, the University of Arkansas suspended the WFB‘s research privileges for violating library policies. In particular, according to a letter from library dean Carolyn Henderson Allen, the WFB‘s unauthorized publication of materials from the collection violates library policies and infringes upon the university’s intellectual property rights in the relevant materials. The letter further demands that the WFB remove all of the offending materials from its website and return all copies of materials obtained from the library’s special collections.

The WFB‘s attorneys have responded with forceful letter of their own, challenging the library’s claims. Specifically, the letter claims that copies of the relevant materials were provided to WFB reporters without condition, and that publication of the relevant materials constitutes fair use. It further suggests the library is acting contrary to the principles of the American Library Association and may even contravene relevant state law. The WFB suggests the library’s letter is in response to its publication of unflattering stories about Hillary Clinton, and notes that Dean Allen was a donor to Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Here’s more on the story from Politico, which reports that the library is not threatening any legal action at this time. For what it’s worth, the relevant policies, referenced on the special collections permission form, do provide that permission must be obtained before materials from special collections may be published. It isn't, not until we change our criminal process, and I doubt that would be a good idea. It is why people have such negative views on lawyers, because they have to do things which are kinda not nice. If you are a defense lawyer, it is your job to make people question the witnesses against your client. This kind of outrage is nothing new though. Remember Al Pacino in And Justice For All?

Wait,k it is a story that some one who can't follow simple rules is told that they then cannot use the facility for not following those rules? And in what way does that have the least ****ing thing to do with the story in the OP?

Well we need a :laughat: competent lawyer. When did a tax supported university fall under the protection of "fair use" of material ? When did the University of Arkansas fall under copyright protections ? If the university has come in to possession of material, doesn't it become public domain ?

If you dig further you're going to see that the Clinton's are involved in this decision.

This is just another stupid smear of Clinton because the right wing noise machine is scared of her actually running for President.

Wait. Do you realy not comprehend that at least some of the material in those collections might be copywritten? In point of fact, that is what happened, they violated copywrite. Message regarding Special Collections - University of Arkansas Libraries

This isn’t an issue about withholding information, the bottom line is they failed to obtain permission to publish copyrighted material.

Meanwhile though, back at the topic....

I went to your link and followed the links. The university said contact a copyright lawyer. It didn't mention competent lawyers.

Do you have any thing at all to say about the topic of this actual thread? While your ignorance of copywrite law and the law in general is amusing, it is not really what this thread is about.

I sure do, those who have listen to the tape said it's pretty embarrassing for Hillery. She actually has a southern accent and sounds like a southern Democrat KKK hick.

Sorry about that.

Victim: Hillary Clinton

The victim in an Arkansas rape case in 1975, whose accused attacker was successfully defended by Hillary Clinton, is speaking out in her first extended interview, coming on the heels of unearthed tapes of the former secretary of State discussing the case.

The victim, whose name has been withheld in the media, spoke with the Daily Beast. The interview appears to have occurred after the conservative website The Free Beacon on Sunday published audio tapes from the 1980s in which Clinton discussed the case with a reporter. In those tapes, Clinton seemed to suggest she thought her client, Thomas Alfred Taylor, was guilty of the crime that he was not convicted of committing.

Re: Josh Rogin Josh Rogin facebook tweet post Politics 06.20.14 Exclusi

This is a dog-bites-man story.
It is very sad that many rape victims go through hell to prosecute the rapist. It's very sad that this sort of a tale is not uncommon.

Unsurprisingly, some rape victims take the process personally.

Sorry to hear about this lady's unfortunate case.
But defending people charged with crimes is SOP for lawyers.
Why am I supposed to be shocked by this?

Like when she was doing her job as a staff attorney for the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate investigations ? :lamo

She got here butt fired for being a political hack liar. :2rofll:

>" Hillary Clinton was fired from her job as a staff attorney for the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate investigations for, among other things, lying:

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair.

When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”..."<

Leaving aside the inssane conspiricy theory websites you so love to post...do you ever stick to a topic and defend what you are saying? Must you always just run from topic to topic, trying to find some argument that does not blow up in your face?

And LoLz at those sources...Infowars...:lamo

I knew you would love InfoWars.
But remember, attack the message not the messenger.
You can't attack the "American Thinker" can you ?

The facts are the topic is Hillery and she was fired from the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate investigations for lying and breaking other laws. She's a typical incompetent shyster.

Now if you want to ignore that and stick to a rape case, back then liberals were known for being soft on crime and always siding with the criminals. :ssst: They still do. Be it ignoring the Constitution and the laws that are already on the books like securing our borders, deporting illegal aliens, deserters who bugged out in combat to failing to bring up Articles of Impeachment against another incompetent lawyer, Barack Obama.

Fact and accusation mean two different things. Clinton was accused, by one single person. That is not a fact. Try not to get so confused.

Also, why are you still not talking about the topic of the thread? Why do you keep running away from the topic?
