Would you vote Hillary Clinton for President in 2016?

For some people it won't be so much voting for Hillary, it will be voting against the xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, racists on the far right.
That brings me back to my point about uniting the country. With attitudes like that, we'll end up killing each other.

As a Conservative myself I am sorry you feel that way......I hope if it comes down to Hillary and Jeb you will reconsider.

I would, but I'm hoping it doesn't come down to that.

No, I wouldn't, but then I won't vote for anybody named Bush, either. Time for some fresh air in the house. There are just too many associations already established with these folks that I don't care to see any more of, so no thanks.

But...but ..they're dynasties! What's the good of creating a dynasty if it just sits there on the shelf? Honestly, they probably just like to feel as necessary as the next guy!

You wouldn't vote for her just because she's a female would ya?

IMO she's an evil conniving beotch from Hell.

I vote based on issues myself, but you are certainly welcome to vote based on her gender if you choose.

That's what the media is for; to spread the propaganda of the, "racist Conservative".

It is not propaganda to say that minority voters tend to not vote republican, and it is not propaganda to say that minority voters tend to feel that the republican party does not care about them.

Being out of touch doesn't mean that you're racist, but it does mean that there are a lot of votes out there that you won't be getting.

LOL....I'm surprized that Hilary gets such a high percentage from a poll of extreme right-wingers!

it's early yet, but she does seem to be a front runner. whether or not i vote for her depends on her full and detailed platform, and on the platforms of her opponents. i just don't like the "candidate has been chosen before anyone is even officially running" thing.

I'm do not mean for this to be argumentative in any way, but your post quoted here hit on something I have been arguing for years now.

Barack Obama gave us a very detailed, very clearly stated platform that he would run on as President:

1. Rein in runaway spending and restore fiscal responsibility in government
2. No earmarks or other special interest spending.
3. Support traditional marriage
4. Full and honest transparency in government
5. End the war in Afghanistan and Iraq
6. Close GITMO
7. Reform healthcare to provide more access, reduce everybody's cost, and eliminate unnecessary red tape.
et al

Now we had no experience with Obama so many voters took him at face value. He got elected with an 83% personal approval rating that has now sunk to the low 40 percentile as more and more Americans have to accept that it was mostly all empty promises and he flat out lied or he reneged on what he had promised.

So given that, why would you trust a Hillary Clinton platform as a basis for your vote instead of her track record and she does have one?

Again I am not intending this as any kind of criticism or challenge. I honestly am looking for a rationale here.

Is Jeb your next Fred Thompson NP? Or maybe your next Rick Perry?

Face it....GWB screwed Jeb's chances of ever being President.

They belong on a shelf of curiosities. Just the idea that a rise to national prominence is inevitable bugs me. Gore and Kerry backed me into GW, and I'm tired of it. We never hear about how bad things might have been with Gore or Kerry, but it's pretty clear they aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer either, so I give Bush a slight, very slight pass. Honestly, I'd very much like to see the establishment powers of both parties sort of locked out. They're all self-serving.

Jeb's biggest problem is that his last name is Bush.

Maybe he should change that.

Why should he go though life with that dragging him down?

Exactly....fair or not, people are going to associate Jeb with the disastarous presidency of GWB.....and that will kill any chances that he has.

That's going on right now, every day, all over the USA. Read the news.

Not around here. Nobody has killed anybody else around here today. Course, there aren't many people around here, so it would take a lot of effort to find somebody worth killing. I'm just too lazy. They'll die eventually without my help.

If your brother is G.W. Bush, who am I going to think of when I look at you?

I believe that is very fair.

Why should I think of anyone else?

That is an ironclad fact.

I wonder if Chelsea becomes the next generation to join the group? I guess we'll find out in due time if she has political aspirations. It looks like she may have a baby to raise in the meantime, though..

The media is going to give any Leftist candidate an advantage.

I actually disagree with this. If Hillary is the frontrunner, I see the media once again, as they did in 2007/2008, try to take her down. I don't have a definitive answer why, but I don't think she's made many friends in the media during her time in the White House and after. Unlike her husband, she's not a naturally friendly or charming person and can be quite grating and dismissive.

:agree: Fishing is more relaxing anyway, so why bother?

I would disagree - GWB has been looking progressively better the longer Obama's in the White House. And I think the stink of the Obama terms is sticking to Democrats much more than GWB is to Republicans - only liberals are living in the past - and since Hillary was a big part of Obama's first term and her time as Secretary of State is proving to be a disaster for American interests around the world, I think you're missing who's going to be tarred most by past administrations.

And let's not forget every time people look at Hillary Clinton, they're going to see Bill with a cigar and a stained dress.

No kidding. Killing isn't fun. Fishing is, and the benefits don't have to include catching a fish, which is strictly a secondary reward in the scheme of things fishing-wise.

He went around in drag in the WH? No wonder the Secret Service is so secret.

Tis a silly poll question. The fact of the matter is that come November 2016, about 51% of the people that bother to vote will vote for a turd on a string if they win their parties nomination. About 47% will vote for the 'other' parties nomination.
