It was back in 2012 that Republicans were convinced they would retake the White House and any polls, studies or evidence to the contrary were dismissed as biased or faked. The results are history, culminating with an astonished Karl Rove live on Fox in complete denial.

I'm not saying that the GOP can't retake the Senate. A number of incumbents are Democrats in traditional Red states but it will mean they need to win everywhere else a Republican is defending their seat plus five or six held by Democrats.

5 years later with 6 Trillion added to our debt we have 20 million plu mmore people on food stamps.

Disabillity has doubled and most new jobs are part time .

Poverty is up 16% overall.

If its not a recession then what is it ?

Ask economists whose job it is to define the term "recession." A recession is defined as a drop in GDP for consecutive quarters. This has not happened.

they were soft mamby pamby. unfortunately for McCain people bought into hope and change.

the difference is in 2016 Hillary doesn't have the charisma that Obama has and is in fact not liked by a large amount of people.

Most news networks are owned by large corporations. NBC and MSNBC are owned by General Electric. CBS was most recently owned by Viacom, which spunoff CBS as a separate corporation. ABC is owned by The Walt Disney Company.

One can have a weak economy and still technically not be in a recession.
 
I don't see Republicans losing any seats in 2014, so they will need 6 seats to gain a majority.

Republicans should pick up seats in South Dakota and West Virginia easily. They have a real edge in Arkansas and Montana. So that's 4 seats.

Hagan is plummeting in North Carolina and Land keeps winning poll after poll in Michigan surprisingly. I think the GOP wins those two.

The GOP has security blankets in Alaska, Louisiana, and Iowa. I frankly don't see how they don't gain control of the Senate.

Yea Obama 's 7.0 % Unemployment rate is the exact same thing as a 7% unemployment rate under any other President.

The "recovery" was a actual recovery and "stimulus " pulled us back from the brink...

Funny how they ignore the "little people's" plight in this economy when the rich are keeping it looking good. The left is always complaining about how the rich own more than what... maybe 90% of everything? Then they convienetly use the power of the rich as an indication everything is fine, throwing away the poor...
