The fact is the GOP does not want to tick off the far right even thought anyone with half a brain and a butthole knows the prohibition against marijuana is wrong and hypocritical.It is onl;y common sense and morals,ethics and standards are not and excuse or a reason to keep the status quo.It is just plain wrong to say booze and cigarettes are legal and pot is not.It is wrong for an emplyer to UA their employees and fire them for pot but not the beers they drank last night.UA's do not prove you are high or not so they need to eliminated until they can come up with a better test that proves you are high on the job or not.Jesus never said a bad or good word about pot even though they have been making hashish in the holy land for thousands of years.If it was so freaking bad he would have said something about it like he did on hypocricy.
