How come the Democrat controlled Senate will not produce a budget proposal? U.S. Senate’s ongoing failure to pass a budget is ridiculous. It has been 3 years since they have passed a budget.

The US seems to be doing much better. It's just not the way you want it done. You have differences with Obama and what he stands for. Good job or bad job you would want him out. It doesn't matter the how he's doing. I never said all conservatives wanted him to fail. The biggest thing that gets all conservatives is he has not failed. Now you all worry over the debt and if you were a Conservative worth your salt you would recall your hero Reagan said he didn't worry about that debt. So what you don't like is Obama and his record means zero when you don't like the candidate for whatever reason.
The flame that is between us could set every soul on fire. I would love to take that heat and let's fill the whole world with desire.

It can't be the ideology, so much of what Obama supports are Republican ideas. It seem that Obama's stubborn middle of the road stance has forced the GOP further and further to the right so as not to agree with the President.
Why they are doing it is a mystery. It could be because they think they need a contrast to win elections or it could be that they don't like what he looks like or where he comes from. The fact that they are doubling down now on tax breaks for the rich even though polls all show it isn't popular seems to indicate they think they can win without appealing to the economic desires of the voters. Perhaps they intend to use fear again like in 2010.

Ask the House, all spending bills must start there. They keep passing kangaroo budgets that have no chance of making it in the Senate. And any bill the Senate would submit would be dead in the House.
We should have known that electing those Teaparty people would really mean ALL they would do is have teaparties. Talk about ridiculous.
A budget can't be filibustered, it would only take 51 votes to pass it. None of them want a paper trail that can be used against them in November. Twenty three Senate dems are up for reelection this year. There's no way their voting on a budget. It's the equivalent of State Senator Obama voting "present".

"The necessaries of life occasion the great expense of the poor. They find it difficult to get food, and the greater part of their little revenue is spent in getting it. The luxuries and vanities of life occasion the principal expense of the rich, and a magnificent house embellishes and sets off to the best advantage all the other luxuries and vanities which they possess. ... It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion."
