Republicans should allow the cut in subsidies to oli companies!

And watch Obama go down in flames as oil companies pass the cost on to consumers, ruining our already weak economy, but hey then more Americans would be dependent on Uncle Obama, which is the goal. Seems I remember this President running on getting new, affordable, renewable energy, to the American people. We got Solyndra?

So your very conservative, small government opinion is that the government should be paying huge subsidies to oil companies? Interesting....

So, you want conservatives to take you seriously based solely on the fact that you're on the "same team?" Wouldn't you prefer people take you seriously on merit?

The Food Stamp president does not care about anything but more Government control, and reelection. If Gas prices go up more than they have based on taking away subsidies, and the oil companies raise the price to make up the difference, the economy get's worse, and more people need assistance, if you have an argument make it. You will soon find out I do not look for favor based on my beliefs.

Not necessarily, but the outcome would hurt the economy ,therefore my family, when did we start giving oil companies subsidies and why is it such an important thing right at this moment, because it makes Obama sound good to his base.

Hopefully you don't look for favor based on your logic, either. Are you going to respond to my question? If Obama is really all about government control, wouldn't he be seeking to INCREASE subsidies? What is your point, exactly, aside from lashing out at President Obama?

I get it. So you think that oil subsidies are a bad thing, what them being socialistic and all, and you're attacking Obama because he wants to do away with something that you think we should do away with. Makes perfect sense now.

He is pandering to the base, to put the emphasis on the oil companies greed, and not his lack of a plan, or the fact that he couldn't care less how much Americans are suffering, that is the plan. Your insults are thinly veiled. If I wanted to lash out it would be more along the lines that a Dem would, like have you seen how much golf he plays.

So, you're for subsidizing an industry that already makes many, many billions in profit? That doesn't seem very "free marketey" to me.

Sounds more like you're picking which side based on what Obama does.

One of us is certainly dense. I asked you if you were for subsidies and you answered, "not necessarily". If you're not necessarily for them I assume that means that you're against them.

Dude, you are making no sense. There are elements of the base that are against subsidies, but there are other elements that would be hurt by higher gas prices. Obama doesn't benefit politically from making gas prices higher.

I would encourage the subsidies to be increased until we get the gas down to 29¢ a gallon so we can all start driving Humsters again.

Must be rough being in the oil business these days. Perhaps we can elect another member of the Bush dynasty and get that oil flowing.

What I am saying is that Obama is pandering to the environmental wacko side of his base, they want to push renewable, non oil based fuels, well while we are finding them, drill, if we had when all this crap started we would be benefiting from it now.

id rather they give the money back to the people that file income US tax every year.
 
Oil subsidies won't be reduced or eliminated because there are too many Democrats that are in favor of them.
