Agreed.
I'm glad so many Americans were watching, because what I saw cannot possibly help McCain or hurt Obama.

and yet, you matter naught
you were never going to consider voting for them
and the i would bet dollars to donuts those that did make it a record audience did not do so because they wanted to see how bad teh competiition was
the reason it was a record viewership was because of the number of undecideds going 'whats going on here'

It's kind of comparable to the 1960 debates between Kennedy and Nixon. Nixon won with radio listeners, but lost with T.V. viewers. Biden won with intellectuals, but Palin won with your average JoeSixPack and Betty Rubble.

The intellectuals are out-numbered.

I think this race will be tied up by Tuesday, and then it's up for grabs from here to the finish line.

Paging Reverend Wright.

He's good for at least a three point swing with some sharply produced ads.

McCain wins by a nose. If the economy tanks between now and then, edge Obama.
I can't agree with you here MC. Obama is going to continue moving upward. Joesixpack who doesn't utilize the internet probably didn't watch the debate and has no idea who won.

i found interesting a pundits comment that
'those people who identify with Palin, as a regular person
are going to say I am not capable of being VP, so I dont think Palin is either'

found that to be an interesting, and concerning, interpretation of the avg joe Persona

Well, that's probably an accurate assessment, don't you think?
If that's what Joe Six-pack is thinking, I give him mad propz for realistically assessing the situation.
