JoeSixPack doesn't post on poltical boards too much or click on internet polls, but he does pick up the phone.
It's kind of comparable to the 1960 debates between Kennedy and Nixon. Nixon won with radio listeners, but lost with T.V. viewers. Biden won with intellectuals, but Palin won with your average JoeSixPack and Betty Rubble.
The intellectuals are out-numbered.
I think this race will be tied up by Tuesday, and then it's up for grabs from here to the finish line.
Paging Reverend Wright.
He's good for at least a three point swing with some sharply produced ads.
McCain wins by a nose. If the economy tanks between now and then, edge Obama.

Or do you mean the adult Liberal style of presenting everything with a ridiculous left-wing slant and bias?
I got you. "Adult [liberal] style"...
Face facts, CNN, NBC, and CBS are RIDICULOUSLY to the left, and presenting them as neutral sources is nothing short of asinine. Don't hate the truth deliverer, hate the truth. |

I was under the impression liberals don't take any glee in emotional carnage. My mistake. |

People tuned in because they wanted to see how Palin would do. Just the same, this is not a cultural election this time around, its an issues election and the majority of Americans do not agree with McCain and Palin on the issues they are most concerned with. The same polls that indicated Biden won the debate are the same polls that indicated Obama won last Friday's debate. Obama significantly increased his lead in the polls following that debate. So we have good reason to believe that the CBS and CNN polls are quite accurate as to how viewers felt about the debates.

are you nucking futs? | Of course it had to do with Palin. She is something new and different. People wanted to see what she would do in the debate. However, that does not automatically translate to voter support. I tuned in to see how Palin would do, but I am not going to vote for her. |
