About 10,000 people were expected in Cedarburg, WI today for the McCain/Palin rally. How many showed up? 20,000 - 30,000. That is far more than the 11,000 population of Cedarburg.



Conservatives are energized.

McCain had a lot energy himself. He also showed a more humorous side in this speech, at one point calling Sarah Palin's husband "crazy" for snowmobiling 2000 miles. He also said, "...I was not elected Miss Congeniality in Congress again this year." When talking about spending millions to study the DNA of bears in Montana, he said, "I don't know if that was a paternity issue or a criminal issue but we're not going to do it anymore."

Indeed we are. Sarah Palin has really injected serious enthusiasm into this campaign. McCains judgement on her pick shows why he is the maverick, and why he will be the next POTUS.
