That's absolutely idiotic on the part of the church. As I've stated in other threads about this, I'd like to know how involved with this church she was, why she chose it, and if she was involved in many of its external things.

I'd ask you Disney, why the hypocracy. I don't remember you stating if you believe Obama is anything but as extreme on race baiting issues as Reverend Wright. Is it only outrageous when the other sides church does something crazy?

Did you read the start of my post? As I said, I would like more information. I prayed at a church for 4 years in my youth, but I hardly considered myself a staunch member of the church. I would like more information about how close she is too it, and yes if she's very close to the church and very active in these kind of things it would worry me and make me question her judgment of character.

HOWEVER

I see you completely and thoroughly ignored my question of hypocracy. Where were you during the Reverend Wright thing? Were you also calling Obama an extremist based on what his reverend was stating? Especially when, unlike with Palin, we KNEW how close Obama was with him. Did you question his extremism or judgment, or harp on that? Or did you critizie those that did.

Lets be open and honest Disney. I stated already what this church is doing is absolutely crazy. I'm saying that I want more info and that if she's extremely close with the church and participates in these type of things I question her judgement. Lets see you be open and honest Disney, what was your reaction to the Wright thing, or are you just a partisan hitman that has problem with extremist and crazy religious people when it benefits you politically but have no problem and will actually attack people that have a problem with it when its your guy?

No, the extreme left attacking Palin's son as being his daughters is like the extreme right attacking Obama for being a muslim.

Yes, this is akin to attacking Obama as a whacko christian, or more as a black liberation theology whacko. However, the difference is we had facts in regards to how close Obama was to his reverend and church making the outrageous, extremist claims. We do not have those fact yet on Palin.

The other difference we'll get to see is the difference in reactions from both people on the right, and the left. Will people on the left that criticized the right for making his church and issue and saying you can't attribute Wrights and his church's thinking to Obama now turn around and try to do the same thing they deplored against the right? Similarly, will those on the right that condemned Obama's judgment also condemn Palin's if it comes out she's anywhere near as close to her church as Obama's.

It also comes down to what you think is a more radical and extremist thing....that America created aids to kill the black man, or that you can help a person pray away their homosexuality.
