Re: Palin's Speech

What grade level are we grading her speech on? It was juvenile and lacked content, so I would put it on the late elementary to middle school level. So a B- at the 7th grade level, an F at the University level.

Re: Palin's Speech

For politics?

C, I mean, I'd only grade lower if the crowd didn't like it, and only higher if it was a significant speech, excelled in content, or had a fantastic delivery... which it didn't. But it did what it needed to do.

C.

C, did not mention much on the issues and repeated debunked GOP talking points, plus debunked stuff she has said herself. Nothing on healthcare, social security, not even Afghanistan.

You should actually watch her speech instead of parroting obama's talking points.

You do realize you come off just as partisan as the right and the left right?

For expressing my honest opinion on the crap that the conventions have thrown at me? K, whatever. One of us has a more consistent record on going after both sides than the other; you can guess as to which one that is.

Ok, so what? I don't like the Republocrats and I'm angered about what a circus the political process and conventions have become. So what? I demand a certain amount of professionalism and information to be delivered by the candidates, and I didn't see that in Palin's speech; I don't think I've seen it yet in either of the conventions. So I demand high standards out of politicians and the political process and I haven't been getting it, so I've been bitching about the whole of it. If that's partisan then so be it. Call it as you will, it's America. But I'm not going to stop, I'm only going to get going even more if things don't change; if I don't feel the People are really in charge. So either ignore my posts or deal with it.
