Current Mood: | My predictions on Palin's Speech I'm just taking a stab in the dark here, but I'm betting the conservatives are going to absolutely love her speech and the liberals are going to hate it. I know that I'm going way out on a little limb here, but I'm sticking with this prediction.

"Liberals" will mock the speech no matter what, just as the right mocked Obamas speech (often without hearing the speech).

Current Mood: | Re: My predictions on Palin's Speech We will see. So far, she seems to be a better speaker than I expected. I'm sure I'll hate the substance of her speech, but I'm trying to keep an open mind regarding the style.
At the very least, she needs to top Fred Thompson and Joe Lieberman (which shouldn't be difficult).

Of course, I guess we could get lucky and the teleprompter go out midway through, but well, one can only hope.
