| Palin must be under hard scrutiny
One can notice that several women want to have it easy with Sarah Palin when "her private life" must be kept it "private" from the media.
That is bull.
This lady must has to pass the test, and the sooner the better.
No mercy should be considered because she is a woman, and to assert this statement we have Hillary who passed the test and demonstrated that a woman can stand firm against the michievious attacks of the media.
The case about Palin's daughter cannot be considered as something not related with her as a runner as VP, on the contrary, this is a direct and close connection in her life which must be cleared up without doubts. She (Sarah Palin) failed with her daughter, and she (Sarah Palin) must recognized it in public. The sooner, the better.
The reasons of her failure can be many, and her life as a public servant may be the main reason. Sarah can apply for the understanding of the public saying that some sacrificies are necessary and that leaving her daughter aside may be the cause for her to get pregnant -lack of constant counseling from mother to daughter- and that this is similar to the sacrificies that pagan mothers did in the past by offering their children to the gods. Sarah Palin decided to sacrifice her daughter to the god of political power.
Some new fanatics of Palin are starting to argue that no one makes the same questions to Obama or any other politician about choosing between politics and their family business, and they are dead wrong with their argument. As a parent, Palin should have never insisted to stay behind her daughter giving counseling to avoid pregnancy and/or being exposed to STDs. No doubt that her daughter thought that she was also "in charge of everything" as her mother was in society, but both (mother and daughter) were dead wrong.
Palin must explain what happened, and explain why she and her husband let this to happen (the pregnancy of her teenager daughter), they must respond with clear statements.
I'm glad with McCain's idea to have Palin at his side, the novelty is great, but now, when the big excitement is almost over, it is time to check who is the "real" Palin beyond the paper records found in her curriculum. I used to work for goverment and I know by experience that several records are fake, specially when amounts of dollars and personal data are involved.
The best way to know Palin will be by questioning her like the media has made with the rest of candidates.
