The Republicans defending Palin

uhm are you denying there are spyplanes along the alaskan border and it is te guards job to monitor, defend and track along these coasts?

Airspace violations and foreign spy technology is clearly in the realm of the federal government. They may have to use the Alaska National Guard because...well because it's Alaska and no one lives there, but it is still clearly the job of the federal govenrment. You're going to have to prove that she actually issued orders, looked over maps, studied old data of flight patterns of previous spy technology, etc. if you're going to make this claim of experience here with her. That's what the people who are tracking and watching are doing. As it stands, it seems FAR more likely to me that the federal government took care of it because it's the federal government's job to take care of things like this.

And was the governor of LA out on the streets directing the evacuation? Or did he issue an order and let a branch of his office take care of it while he got to helicopter and got the hell out of dodge? I don't know the answer to that one, but that latter sounds well more like politicians.

In my opinion, any Mayor of a top 25 city in the U.S. has a more difficult executive position then the Executive of the entire state of Alaska. I would even go so far to say that such a mayor will probably acquire more foreign policy experience as well during their tenure of mayor.

As to counties, I will state that I believe the county I live in is more difficult to govern then the entire state of Alaska. It definitely requires more foreign policy acumen.

I am sure, in NJ, there are counties there that require more ability to manage then the entire state of Alaska.

Population and diversity of that population is a major factor in determining how burdensome the Executive position is.

So does that mean that Obama is "in" with the Canadians since his state borders Canada? Does that mean that the closet gay guy running Florida has tons of experience with Cuba, Bermuda and the other Island nations around his state? Or Arnie has tons of experience with Mexico.. hell even McCain? This has got to be one of the weakest and most stupid arguments we have gotten from the McCain camp about Palins "experience".

Not to mention I bet most Americans did not know that Alaska bordered Russia....

So taking "him on" means working for his 527, openly supporting him and not asking him to resign when facing corruption charges? I see...

Then there is Troopergate.. a topic that is avoided like the plague by the right, and of course Sherifgate has not been investigated yet by the media.

On top of that we find that Palin was a member of an un-American Alaskan independence group, and what do the right do on these boards... ignore it, or gloss over it as it is nothing. So the fact that you have an unpatriotic unqualified person a heartbeat away from the Oval office, does not bother you? But at least it totally deflates the smear campaign against Obama by the right on his patriotism, a campaign promoted by McCain himself.

One thing for sure, there is more and more ammo for the Democratic 527s to exploit if they are given free hand to do so :)

I posted this video yesterday. The Republicans tried to attack the messenger (Campbell) and attack Obama (who wasn't the subject matter of the discussion) to hide the fact that Tucker Bounds was unable to answer the question about foreign policy and Sarah Palin. It was and is PRICELESS! :lol:

Well how do they defend against them, track them, monitor them? What role does Palin play in that function? How many sorties has she scrambled? How many jets has she ordered shot down? How many times has she been on the scope monitoring their whereabouts? How many orders has she issued? How many defense plans has she ordered to be drawn up?

What the **** has she actually done other than claim the title and get a a jacket?
