One positive note is that he is about to shoot himself in the foot with his Iraq visit. The fact that the troop surge has worked will force one of two situations. He will either A) have to acknowledge the troop surge working, which he already has by whitewashing his web site of his previous disagreement with the surge, and it will put him squarely against his cultishly adoring base, or B) he will be loyal to his base and place himself in opposition to General Petraeus, Bush, McCain, and the military.

Either way, the weasel is going to have trouble out of all this. That is, unless the media tows his bull**** line and spins it for him.

He's a liberal. They all have the same sense of entitlement to everyhitng. Like robots. There is never enough for them.

Reagan did the hard work. Bush was President when it finally fell.

Does Obama not see the incongruity? It's as if a German pol took a campaign trip to America and demanded the Statue of Liberty as a venue for a campaign speech. (The Germans have now gently nudged Obama into looking at other venues.)

Yea I realized that. Just being honest how my memory failed me and rather then remembering Bush Sr. was president I focused on Reagan.
