Be afraid my left wing friends.........Be very afraid....... Rasmussen Reports™: The most comprehensive public opinion coverage ever provided for a presidential election.
Friday, July 11, 2008
The race for the White House is getting a bit closer. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Barack Obama’s lead over John McCain down to a statistically insignificant single percentage point, 43% to 42%. Prior to today, Obama had enjoyed at least a four-point advantage every day since Hillary Clinton dropped out of the race over a month ago. This is the first time his support has fallen below the 45% level since May 31.

So now that the race has tightened a little bit.....and Rasmussen is no longer showing Obama with a 5 point lead....I guess you've flip-flopped back from "Rasmussen is a biased pollster that only polls liberals" to "Rasmussen is one of the most accurate and credible pollsters"
It will be interesting to see what the polls say next week....especially with McCain and his advisors claiming that we are not in a recession and that everyone in America are just "whiners" and are simply imagining it.......

BTW, even the article you show says not to get excited about this since its more than likely a hiccup in the polls.

A little education for you............A recession is defined as negative growth for 2 quarters........We have not even had negativ growth for 1 quarter..........Just because you lefties keep saying there is a recession does not make it so............ |

Yes but my left wing friend..........Your hero Obama should be up 20 points in the poll.........How do you explain that he isn't? |

The economy is booming....Americans are enjoying these healthy and vibrant economic times.......(you are getting sleepy......sleepy......)
Face it....McCain knows he is screwed unless he can convince people that the economy is not bad. He loses by double digits to Obama on the economy.
If one of two things doesn't happen:
(1) the economy improve substantially in the next 4 months (highly unlikely)
(2) McCain at least convinces people that it has.....
McCain is screwed....its really that simple. |

Argue that Obama should be up by twenty points....so that when he is up by 12-15% you can argue that McCain is winning......interesting. |
