Two of the WORST US PRESIDENTS IN HISTORY had huge amounts of experience. You act as if experience assures success and that inexperience is automatic failure.

I've seen some polls this cycle, national polls with samples of like 1000 people. That's like polling New Hampshire by randomly calling 3 people!

There will be debates, ads, issues, etc. I'm not saying necessarily that McCain will win, just that spending $200 mil and winding up with a 4 or 5 point lead over someone who hasn't been running cannot possibly be rationally taken as an indication that that 4 point lead is an insurmountable barrier. |

What do they learn on those extra days that they need to know for the White House?

| I could never vote for someone with Obama's policies.........I don't think Conservatives would ever nominate someone with his experience........At least they haven't in the 44 years I have been voting.........Nor would they ever nominate someone so far to the left......... Quote: |

| None of those people you mentioned had to deal with the world as it is today............Of the Republicans this year the one I agreed with most was Huckabee or Romney but in this political climate they were not electable.....The best man to beat Obama in 2008 is McCain............. Quote: |

| A couple of terms in the senate or being a governor for 1 or 2 terms would suffice...........

Your hero will be known as one of the worst....if not THE worst President we've ever had. I'm sure as one of his biggest fans....that makes you proud. |

| I beg to differ. Although Bush has not been an exemplary President I do not feel he will be looked on by future generations as harshly as he is now. Do not misconstrue this post as an endorsement of Bush, but I do not think it is accurate to characterise him as one of the worst Presidents we've ever had, especially not the worst. Admittedly, I'm not very well-versed in the complexities of historical policy analysis but I'm going to assume that neither are you. |
