It's kind of amusing that one of McCain's signature legislation efforts, McCain/Feingold, is going to be partially responsible for dooming his Presidential bid.

I wonder why you suddenly think polls are worthy of your attention now....when I distinctly remember several statements in the past (last election cycle House/senate I believe) where you pretty much called them worthless.

Well the polls in NH and SC were flawed so you really can't always count on them can you.......

Couple of reasons. The Demos have been much better at getting around the restrictions than the Repubs.

Secondly, this is one of McCain's little indiscretions that fuel the hatred of him by many conservatives. Many conservatives think McCain would be worse than Hillary because McCain has shown many times that he is in favor of many of the same policies as the liberal Demos. The Repubilcans in congress will find it hard to go against a Republican President. They will fight Hillary tooth and nail.

I have to take issue with this.......I know a lot of Conservatives are not happy with the selection of John McCain as their candidate for president.......I run in a circle of Conservatives and some of us feel the same way. I can tell you that if there was a race for president between Hillary and McCain 99% of all Conservatives even though they disagree with McCain on some issues and do not believe he is a true Conservative would hold their nose and vote for him because they hate the Clintons and what they represent an would never want to see another Clinton in the WH.........That is and undenialable fact.........
