Trump is still undermining voter confidence in the democratic process

So, you actually think Trump may be right that there are millions of cases of voter fraud.

Is it possible that's how Trump was elected?

Yes. Of course it is.

Trump issues stunning, baseless claim that ‘millions’ voted illegally

Why would he do this? Had he lost, then it would be expected that he would claim fraud, but he won. Maybe those non existent millions voted for him, how do we know?

Trump is Trump. What he did was place the news about the recounts in Wisconsin and possibly Michigan and Pennsylvania on the back page of the news. Now every news station lead with this, this, whatever one wants to call it.

I noticed throughout his campaign, be it the primaries or general election, whenever the news focuses on something he doesn't want them too, Trump says something outrageous that takes the focus off what he doesn't want to be the headline story and the headline story is about Trump with his foot in mouth disease.

Since Trump made this inane statement, very few news broadcasts said anything at all about the recount. You almost have to come to a site like this one full of political junkies to hear about it anymore.

Good point.
It think the link in the OP made the same point as well.
