If we eliminate those with no chance

Huck is gone. You can't win the nomination when you only raise 5 million in an entire year. Ron Paul has raised more in a single day then this guy. He can't compete on Super Tuesday, so he can't win.

Fred Thompson. He will finish lower then Paul in both Iowa and New Hampshire. So he clearly has no chance. In Iowa, he is lucky to speak in front of more then a crowd of 5-6 people.

McCain. The GOP will not nominate the person most responsbile for shamnesty and the campain finance idiocy. That is McCain's legacy - along with the corruption with the Keating 5.

Guliani. His campaign is in absolute flames at the moment. Nobody has more scandals following him around then "The Ghoul". He is so hated across the country it isn't even safe for him to campaign and he is always running for cover and safety.

So, in reality, this poll should have one name. He has the money, the grass roots support, the lack of corruption, and has a nice hair cut. a poll with one choice - Mitt Romney.

You seem pasisonate about Huck, but when I criticize him for his numerous scandals, you never defend them.

He has taken lucrative gifts while leaving office- this bugs me tremedously.

He was found guilty of numerous ethics violations and tried to use lawyers to shut down the investigation. He failed in doing so which is why we know of these violations.

The story on his son slashing a dogs throat and him using his power to avoid charges seems tangible as well.

Ignoring these concerns won't work.

How about starting a new poll that shows who voted for who? With this type of poll, people can vote multiple times for their candidate without having their duplicity exposed. Not that I think anything of the sort happened....

Lets see, Huckabee created a surplus in his state of 850 mil, whilst Romney has done, ooh, nothing.

I admit, the guy has skeletons in his closet. Every politician does, and I'm not going to defend any the scandals the guy has done. However, I'm more willing to cut the guy some slack because, unlike Romney or Guiliani or Clinton, he does not have the money and the necessities to defend himself. Basically because he stands unarmed.
If your vote for a candidate lies on this issue, then I guess your going to stay home this year, or vote for Alan Keyes. Besides, if you don't mind, were those gifts taken, or were they offered to him?

Romney's scandals are that he didn't march with MLK, and he tied his family dog up to the roof in a dog carrier.

Paul's scandals are that someone wrote a racist remark in a newsletter of his and that a White Nationalist gave him $500.

One of Huck's many, many scandals is the abuse of power for personal gain.

I consider Huckabee's scandals to be a million times more sinister and makes him unworthy to hold office at any level of government.


He registered for them - so it was his idea.


I'm not going to link you to a well known scandal. Either research your chosen candidate better or quit talking about him.

When we vote, we don't, never have, and never will, vote for who is worthy to hold office, we simply vote who is the lesser of 2 evils. I'm a living breathing person. If I'm short of money, my choices are serously limited.

The state isn't a living breathing person. If the state is short of money, they get more money from living people. They don't need a surplus unless they somehow created debt - in which case they truly don't have a surplus anyway.

This is what bugs me about Huck and Huck supporters. They don't truly understand limitied government idealogy, it's just social conservatism with no fiscal conservatism. At first glance I was almost fooled. He talks a good game if you don't fully dive in.

Those aren't scandalous. He changes his mind on issues and is more liberal then I care for. He's a politician who cares to stay elected. I know this about him. Huge difference between that and using your office for political gain - which Huckabee did.

I never said I would vote for Romney. Nor will I.


And a true glimpse into the real man. He actually needed this to blow up in his face before he did away with the gift registry. What kind of idiot wouldn't know this would blow up in his face?
