It's Only a Matter of Time Before RNC Ditches Trump

What, I should have voted for Carter in '80? Or, maybe Mondale in '84? Dukakis in 88? Puh-lease. And, I hate to tell ya this. But, Obama has been a solid president. One of the better ones of the past 5 decades.

If you feel good about voting for that lying Obama, then you'll feel great voting for that lying, corrupt Clinton.

Gratz on making a decision that did...and will...**** our country.

 Yeah, sure he does.

From polls...yeah...we can take that drivel to the bank, eh?

LOL!!

You cannot use lying as an argument if you support Trump.

Coming from someone who probably carried Bush's water for 8 years, I'll file that with the dog poop I scooped up this morning.

Inside Trump Tower: Facing grim reality - POLITICO

For weeks, Republican officials and operatives have groused about a dearth of campaign infrastructure in battlegrounds across the country — a state of affairs that could have an impact on GOP candidates up and down the ballot. But like many aspects of the Trump campaign, the deployment plan has been wracked by confusion, false starts and a lack of quick decision-making. On Aug. 18, Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, came to Trump’s Alexandria, Virginia, headquarters for a day of meetings. He left ready to finalize a series of decisions.

But the next morning, Manafort, under withering scrutiny surrounding his work overseas, abruptly quit. His departure created a chain reaction, delaying the talks for days on end. By late August, finger-pointing had begun: In interviews, a Trump aide accused the RNC of slow-walking the process, while RNC officials blamed the lag on dysfunction within the campaign.

shrug...

To each his own. Myself, I prefer a candidate who expresses a principled position that people across all spectrum of our country can relate to...instead of expressing one position to one group...another position to another group...etc. Kind of makes it hard to believe any of those positions.

So, you're obviously not going to vote for Trump, as he is a master of telling the audience what he thinks it wants to hear. He has expressed more positions than the Kamasutra.

Yes...that analogy is perfect for your voting decision. You feel good about putting dog poop in the Oval Office.

I don't know what you are listening to, but everything he has said is exactly what he has stated as his policy positions on his website.

Maybe you got an imaginary voice in your head. You know...that guy named "Bias"?

I only did that once. And, that was way back in 2000.

Yeah, that must be it. Trump isn't a politician like the rest of them. He won't change his positions every few days like so many of then do. Just watch this little video and see how different he is from the rest:

Well, I didn't watch the whole thing...just enough to determine it's not worth watching.

1. What does all that crap about Bush, Bush, Obama, Hillary...heck even Wilson...have to do with Trump?

2. The few examples of Trump supposedly changing his mind were either him changing his position from long before he decided to run for President or out of context spin. For example, that interview with what'shisface about women should be punished neglects to mention that this was a hypothetical situation concerning if laws were passed. That doesn't mean that Trump agrees that those laws should be passed. It just indicates that Trump is committed to enforcing laws...something he has never wavered on and is part of his policy statements.

So...my judgment is that your video is worse than useless...it is a contrived hit job and you should be ashamed to present it or believe it.

Oh, I knew you would feel that way. You're invested in the absurd notion that Trump is (1) not a politician, (2) hasn't totally changed his position on major issues and (3) is being taken out of context when he makes outrageous statements. You should listen to his words and make up your mind from that.

I have listened to his words and made my mind up from that. In fact, I've listened to his words without the left/#NeverTrump bias that is spinning everything he says.

That gives me a distinct advantage over you and your ilk.

Except Trump's vision only pleases one demographic, the most hateful one too boot.

Lotta competitors for THE most hateful demographic.

Lotta competitors for THE most hateful demographic.

Considering the one in question has no legitimate grievance, I'd argue they are the worst of the hater bunch.

The RNC is smart enough to know that it can't afford to alienate every demographic in the country in the hopes of placating a few million angry old white men.

As for your thoughts that Trump stands a chance....we'll see in November. But, fact is, that he is not leading the corrupt Clinton by 15 points is already a disaster. And, the RNC knows it.

Trump won the primary. The majority of concervative voters endors d him, voted for him.

And you're telling me that the RNC does care about the will of the people, and will shove a big middle finger into their faces? That would be the death of them.

Not if they have a come to Jesus moment and realize that a large segment of their base is simply dragging them down. Especially when they begin to face the fact that this particular ball and chain demographic is old and won't be around much longer.

The RNC may finally be waking up to the fact that they can't be successful as the party of old white men.

So are you saying that the majority of republican voters are old white men?

Even if that were true....this is an ELECTION, right? Come hell or high water, the RNC has to bend to the will of its voters, or it's basically going to come right out and say "your voices and votes don't matter".

They do that, and they're dead. Period.

So, you really believe all of his flip flops, all of his absurd statements, all of it is simply left wing bias spinning his words?

and you've actually listened to his speeches?

I find that rather implausible, but then, at least when Trump loses he'll still have a great piece of ass.

Or, did he really not say that either?

He hasn't flip flopped and he hasn't made any absurd statements and yes and yes.

I'm not surprised what you find implausible, given your bias and affinity to spin...not to mention your fixation with the irrelevant. I mean, who cares what kind of ass he has? And who cares if he said it or not? Only those who will spin everything he says...that's who.

Like I said...your affinity to spin and your bias.

In any case, this course of conversation bores me. We've established that your bias causes you to believe every dumbass thing the media puts out about Trump and that my open-mindedness allows me to actually evaluate his statements without any spinning filters. That's about as far as we can go here.

Perhaps you'd like to get back on topic? Do you believe the RNC is going to ditch Trump? Or do you think he is going to campaign to election day?

Oh, I think it's too late to dump Trump. I said so earlier in the thread. The Republican Party is better advised to focus on the down ticket campaigns and try again in 2020. Trump, the Democrat running as a Republican, has already ended any ambitions that the Republicans may have had to regain the White House.

Donald Trump's Biggest Campaign Flip-Flops

And if he wins...or worse, if he loses by some ridiculously low amount...the GOP will be kicking themselves in the ass for not supporting him.
