Why do you lead with such a derogatory statement about 50% of this country's population? I feel certain you are doing it to bate people and get negative responses back. Your post is really not a topic for debate more of just a personal opinion that is founded in nonsense. But since you asked "why is the right so overjoyed" I will answer back as to why I am so overjoyed. Do with it as you will.

First, I despise liars and criminals in the white house. When Bill Clinton chose to make a mockery of the name and statue of our highest office, I said never again would I vote for him. When Barack Obama took his oath to change our country, I was stupid I'll admit. I thought he would change it for the better. I never dreamed of the changes he would make and how he would change this country into the mess it is today. Trump comes along and I'll admit, I was very skeptical of this reality series TV guy. But I don't live my life judging people before I really have a chance to understand what they are about. I've taken the time, lots and lots of time, to really get to know this candidate, what he stands for and the kind of person he is and for my money, I like what I see and hear.

I believe he will bring back integrity to our country and to the Executive office. And, I feel his business experience (which only an idiot would discredit) is something we need desperately.

The last comment I will make is one of irony. It is so ironic that you take what most believe to be the most corrupt person in our recent history (by 100 years) Hillary Clinton and insult Trump supporters as though we have no moral character. I don't know who you support but there is clearly only one criminal running for office that I can see and that criminal is in hiding.

Simply put, because he doesn't have a (D) behind his name, and his last name isn't Clinton or Obama. Their current clown - Trump - couldn't hold Reagan's or Bush 41's jockstraps...but because they've gone so far off the rails (thanks to getting rid of the fairness doctrine, and the rise of the right-wing pundits and the Religious Right), they've lost all sense of real political perspective.

god i am going to be laughing so hard at so many people on this board come November if Trump pulls off the upset

so many of you already think this election is over, and this is the first week in September

dont know if it will happen, but i will be watching a lot of people eating a lot of crow come that Wednesday morning

she is the heavy favorite....but upsets happen all the time....even to heavy favorites
 
The election is in November. I know how hard this is, especially for children, but you'll just have to be patient. Maybe you can chew on a piece of rawhide up until then to pass the time.

Trump may be the Republican nominee, but he is not conservative. In fact the only Republican faction Trump lost during the GOP primaries was conservatives. He lost them to Cruz. It was also conservatives that began the never Trump movement. Most of Trump's lifelong held political views are more liberal than conservative although he changed a few to run as a Republican.

Even a lot of Trump's supporters refer to him as a populist, a nationalist, a nativist, but not conservative. In fact according to Trump supporters, conservatives are the new RINO's.

I have a heard time believe most conservatives don't like him, because he won over their votes. I understand not all conservatives like him, but I would guess most have no problem voting for him.

Hillary wants to expand sanctuary cities, that I call Illegal Labor Unions that are spread all across this country so you can hire illegals cheaper
Hillary for killing all fossil fuels and those jobs
Hillary supports teacher unions that you can't fire a teacher
Hillary is totally against a voucher system to give students a choice of a better education
Hillary is for more taxes
Hillary is for destroying our military
Hillary supports BLM that kill white cops or any whites for the matter
Hillary is for more gun control until the 2nd is abolished
Hillary is not for jobs for good Americans, she wants illegal aliens to have those jobs
Hillary is for letting illegals with a felony out on our streets instead of deportation to cause more crime, not stop repeated crime
Hillary is not for improving our black inner cities, she drives by once a year and waves and says thank you for your vote
Hillary's foreign affairs program is to lead from behind or not even lead
Hillary attacks Libya and leaves it in flames allowing 4 of our best be murdered and that was all because of a video
Hillary pulls out of Iraq and then realizes that was stupid and them pulls right back in
