So When Will Trump Finally Implode?

I have a hard time believing Trump is going to win. I just can't see him being president.

The reason Trump got the nomination is because the GOP has largely ignored their base, which is the majority of their voting block. For years they have been pandering to them with social issues and values while doing nothing, but have done everything for the wealthy donors and economic elite. The elites paid for the system, but there is not enough of them democratically cast the votes to keep the system in place. The middle class is getting fed up with the establishment. Things are going to shift eventually, but I don't see Trump being the leader of that change. I hope this election will be the last that involves establishment goons.

I don't think either Trump or Hillary are fit for office, sport. I am not voting for either of them. However Hillary will be the establishment candidate in a clearly anti-establishment election. She still has not put away Bernie yet.
If I were a betting man.....my bet would be Hillary going down in flames.

That's your choice,which you're entitled to.

I predict that you will be disappointed in November.

I can't see any good reason for either of those two clowns to be president.

If the democrats were running a likeable candidate with any charisma at all, I would agree with you. However Hillary is not likeable and her campaign is in serious trouble. The democrat party fixed the primary for her, however they have no power to fix the November election. The Donald is not winning based on popularity, skill, or acumen...he is benefiting from a very pissed off electorate. I think Trump will win. The only question is whether he will serve one term or two.

My choice this election is :"None of the Above"

But then your prediction is based on wishful thinking and the fact that she will have a "D" in front of her name on the ballot.

So, What gives?

It's a perfect storm. All the little buchanans and slightly bigger perots of the past were expressing similar sentiments, but they were, to use The Donald's language, "low energy" candidates. Here, you have a master manipulator with an unrivaled celebrity status. And a pathologically weak, unlikable candidate on the other side. I see him only gaining steam throughout the summer. Doom.Gloom.

Who voted for Trump? If the base was mad at their candidates then doesn't that make Trump voters the base? Why did the "base" elect both McCain and Romney, both full fledged RINO's? The base is not the hardcore right, that's the mistake everyone seems to make except for the actual voters, who continually shun the far right candidates. Trump is obviously not a far right candidate, overall.
